Well I loved this book! The entire Decadence series is just wonderful and I would read each book over and over. The emotion was intense and real and I was completely immersed in the developing love story and intrigue. Looking forward to the next one now.

Oh, how I just love this book! The relationship between Arturo and Mari was something special to behold. I found myself cheering them on, worrying through the danger, crying at the sadness and jumping for joy at the end! What a thrilling ride! So, very nicely done Ms. Taylor and I can't wait for another addition! If you haven't read this series or the Club Decadence series, you are missing out on spectacular books! Seriously.
This could have been a really interesting book about love, loyalty, betrayal, and the emotional fall-out of poorly implemented D/s relationship. Unfortunately, the latest installment of the Club Decadence series is sabotaged by a selfish, immature too-stupid-to-live heroine. I don't know why a sophisticated, international MI6 agent like Durand would EVER be interested in this wimpy, whiny, silly heroine. Repeatedly she is told to stay put, but what does she do over and over again? You got it. She keeps placing herself in danger by running off by herself to the Club or home or to her shop. Although she is in mortal danger, she turns off her phone because her battery is running low. Why can't she be like most people I know and borrow a charger or keep a charger in her purse or car? The final chase scene abruptly appears and makes no plot sense. Despite being told over and over that the hero loves her, the heroine chooses to focus upon being lied to and NOT the fact that many people have died because of her husband's treasonous spying activities. This book needed more research, editing, and rewriting before publishing. Increasingly, this series seems like a rip-off of Lisa Marie Rice's Midnight series. I probably won't buy anymore books in The Club Decadence series.
Love this latest book in the Decadence Series. Arthur and Marilyn are HOT together. Live all the Decadence characters. Right mix of suspense and steamy scenes. Maddie''s characters are richly complex and oh so likeable.
