This award-winning gluten, wheat and rice free flour is a carefully selected blend of wholegrain teff, sorghum and buckwheat with a little tapioca and potato starch, providing a source of protein and fibre. It contains no gums or strange ingredients. The self raising contains double acting raising agents for superior rise, often lacking in gluten free baking. It was created by Vicki Montague, scientist, blogger and mum to a coeliac child, who wanted to feed her daughter wholesome nutritious food. It contains no rice (and therefore arsenic) and can be used to create delicious gluten and wheat free items such as bread, pasta, cakes, biscuits and pastry. It is perfect for anyone on a gluten and/or wheat free diet or anyone who wants to reduce their reliance on wheat. Recipes and usage information can be found at www.freefromfairy.com. Please note the instructions on the bag say you can store the flour for up to six months...the shelf life has since been extended to twelve months.
