I was a bit disappointed in this story. It was the one I was most looking forward to out of the Risqué Contracts series but for me it didn't deliver. The start was great yet it dipped when Gabe and Charlotte got together. They didn't seem to match and their conversations seemed stilted. Still a fun read, just not what I was expecting overall.

If you haven't heard of Fiona Davenport yet, you will. After reading Penalty Clause I wanted to read everything she'd ever written, only to find out that was her first! I would've never guessed she was a new author with the way she's so good at the 'insta-love, filthy talking, over protective alpha male' writing. If you enjoy Alexa Riley or CM Steele then you need to grab up this series.
Charlotte started out the semester lusting over her hot English Lit professor, Gabe, but as time went on she fell in love with who he was on the inside. She devoured every book he'd written and hung on his every word in class so that she could know the real him. Unfortunately for her, he never calls on her in class and actually seems to go out of his way to avoid her, if he even notices her at all. That is, until the end of the semester when he asks her to to meet him in his office after her final.
Gabe has struggled all semester to keep his feelings for Charlotte hidden. Avoiding her was the only way he could NOT throw her down over his desk and make her his. University rules make it impossible for him to act on his feelings. He'd been trying to ignore his desires but now that finals are almost over he's decided he's done. He's going to claim what belongs to him.
What follows is a scorching hot affair that quickly leads to a forever kind of love. He will do whatever he has to in order to always be by her side, even sacrificing the things most important in his life...because he knows there's nothing as important to him as Charlotte.
Did I mention Charlotte was a virgin? Oh yeah...that makes Gabe's caveman tendencies really come to life. She's his and ONLY his, and he ensures she knows this by giving her body pleasure she will want to beg him for again and again.
Hot, sexy, dirty in the sweetest of ways... I can't wait to see what's next in this series!

HASH(0x8bbb64a4) out of 5 stars 5 Mega-Scorching Stars ! 15 Feb. 2016
By Roanne Germaine - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Gabe Aldric is a gorgeous NYT Bestselling author who also happens to be Charlotte Young's American Lit professor. She is secretly in love with him but he completely ignores her, until the last day of her final exams when he suddenly calls her to proceed to his office.

Gabe has been lusting over Charlotte for the past four months from the time she entered his class. But he was bound by the university's Fraternization policy. However, when the last day of her class with him arrived, there was already no stopping him.

And he found out an exemption to the Fraternization Rule.

I'm so glad I read the third and final book of the Risqué Contracts Series ! This was a vibrantly written Professor - student insta-lovestory, embracing a May-December secret affair on whirlwind romance , with light BDSM , and a very happy ending - all rolled into one mega-sizzling hot quick read!

HASH(0x8c56f324) out of 5 stars no chasing, no forbidden element, no interest 16 Feb. 2016
By Justirishgirl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I liked the other two books and wanted to read this one. I liked that there was no smex with OW/OM.
She was a virgin and he stopped being with others when he met her 4 months prior. He gets
credit for that as in my experience it is atypical for heroes to be celibate before hooking up with the
heroines, even after meeting them. I liked too that it was a KU story and the ending had an epilogue.

However, I was disappointed in the lack of chasing in his part. She was too much of a sure thing.
A virgin, she never even looked at anyone else but him and had been trying to get his attention
for months. We did not even read very much about her attempts or his conflict in not being with her
but having to see her everyday. Mainly just told about. Shortly after the book starts they are together.
There was no build up of attraction. There was no chemistry. The book starts, he tells her he wants
her, she ecstatic and then they smex.

Also, I love jealous and possessive heroes and the hero here claims to be one, but again just telling as opposed
to showing. There was no one for him to be jealous of. She does not look at anyone but him and
quickly blows off the only other man who showed interest in her.

Also there was the set up in this story to have a forbidden hot student/teacher interactions
as he was teaching her class. Since the name of the book is "Fraternization Rule"
I expected that being forbidden to come into play. Didn't happen. He ignored her until he finished teaching
her. I know is the more responsible and safe thing to do but that was not want I wanted.
She was not a minor but rather 21 years old so it was not like it was illegal to them
to get together. Because of the lack of chasing, lack of build up, lack of forbidden element
after expecting one and telling and not showing I was bored. The smex scenes lacked passion and I brushed over them
because I did not care.

However, am not sorry that I read it. I would have wondered because I liked the other two books
in the series.

HASH(0x8bbb6a8c) out of 5 stars Insta-love, quick-and-dirty read. What more could a girl want? 16 Feb. 2016
By Mila - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
What can I say? Valentine’s Day put me in an insta-love, Über-alpha-male kinda mood. I wanted quick-and-dirty reads that, quite frankly, didn’t have to necessarily be plausible in the real world. I stumbled upon Penalty Clause (Risqué Contracts Book 1) and Contingency Plan (Risqué Contracts Book 2) by Fiona Davenport when I saw a post on Facebook about Fraternization Rule (Risqué Contracts Book 3), which came out at midnight last night.

I quickly read through Books 1 + 2 during the day on Sunday. Knowing my insomnia would come in handy, I read Book 3 in the middle of the night after it came out.

Now, please know going in that these are true insta-love books. I’m talking love at first sight – in some cases without even actually speaking to each other. And the (cave)men are determined (with zero flexibility) on claiming these women. Some have more patience than others, but these all go from zero-to-sixty pretty quickly once things start heating up.

When I read, sometimes I want believable, sometimes I want a good cry and sometimes I just want the hot, dirty caveman to come in and claim his woman. If you’re in the mood for the latter, these are the books for you. The typical read for each of these is about an hour. Again, sometimes, that’s exactly what a girl needs.
