This cd is the best hard house album of the year! Perhaps even better than the Tidy Boys Annual. CD1 is a mix of hard house, starting off quite slow with tracks by Hi-Gate and Public Domain, but it quickly moves in to harder songs, finishing off with the twisted BK mix of Injected With A Poison. CD2 I think is better than the first, starting off with some familiar trance tracks by Binary Finary and Mauro Picotto, but it builds up into some techno tinged hard house and finishing off with some hard uplifting trance.
Both CDs have great flowing mixing and the records are very pitched up!

yea so ya know how it usually goes - ya buy a dance compilation and expect a few hours of pretty good music with a few stompers thrown in to make it worth your while.
seems that ain't good enough for frantic who have asked two of the best djs in the hard dance scene (ed real & phil reynolds) to pull out all the stops and assemble the finest collection of tracks ever seen.
ok so taste in music obviously comes into it but it's great to see that they've been allowed to use tracks that they actually play in their sets.
ed real's mix is easily one of his best. hums along nicely with lotsa gr8 tunes like kick up the volume & the beginning. by the time it gets to another jam, can't wait & so wot, it's totally cranking.
phil reynolds' cd (his first methinks?) is in a class of its own. how they got the rights for sooooo many superb tracks is beyond me. generator, discotech, baby wants to ride, electric house, see no evil... from start to finish it rockets all the way.
only criticism is... er... um... nope, can't think of any.
thanx guys, well done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Frantic - it doesn't get much better 8 Jan. 2002

Forget your over-hyped 'super club' releases from '01, because if you're looking for the Hard House/Progressive sound of the 'future', then Frantic is your CD.
Phil Reynolds' CD is magic - so good in fact that you could purchase this CD as a stand alone - with a bonus Ed Real disc (no offensive to Ed!).
Blistering stuff - kicking off with 'First Strike', to the superb PVD remix of '1998', all the way through to the closing of 'Get a rush' and 'Neuro Dancer' - you can't beat it - and a couple of great K-90 tracks included as well!
The strongest CD I've heard in a long time (probably since GC 'Wet'), and with music like this it won't be long until Frantic starts doing the 'international' thing too.
