This book was an amazing read & I would recommend it to anyone. I usually read contemporary romances or rom coms but found this in a box set (what to read after fsog). I couldn't put it down & read it in a under a day (& I'm normally a slow reader). It was brilliantly written & keeps you guessing all the way until the reveal, which was great normally you can figure it out within the 1st couple of chapter. I think it would also make an excellent film (as long as the didnt change anything). It's way better the half the the films they put out now. I will definitely recommending this book & the author to my friends & family.

The first murder caused concern among the public; the second alarm. Brophy, the cop who solves cases but who no one likes, knows the third murder will cause panic. These atrocities have to stop. This story includes a beautiful nurse called Cameron, whose brother Zach is always making trouble for her, especially with her roommate who has problems of his own. Mathew, her former fiancé decides he's made a horrible mistake in ditching her with a bunch of unpaid bills and marrying another. He wants her back. Cameron's best friend Meghan relies on her to continually save her from the sticky situations that she gets herself into. Then there's Darren Kennedy, a handsome ADA who works for the District Attorney's office and who's life shut down after the death of his wife, Sara - Brophy's sister. Until he meets Cameron! Then all hell breaks loose. A thrilling read that'll keep you on your toes.

Fragmented is about family, what makes a family and what can destroy it. For some characters in this powerful romantic thriller, families are things that are lost and yearned for. For other characters families are dangerous, especially when a killer decides to target those who threaten a particular family.

Set in modern Boston, written in a crisp, fast-moving style with an engaging, selfless heroine and a hero who comes to understand and appreciate her, filled with hair-raising tension and twists and turns, 'Fragmented' is a read-at-a-sitting novel. I devoured it.

I really enjoyed this novel. It kept my attention from beginning to end. A good thriller with a tender love story running through the story. Lots of twists and turns. I would highly recommend.

HASH(0x901cb1d4) out of 5 stars A real page turner 25 Jan. 2014

I really enjoyed Fragmented. I couldn't put it down. The suspense was really good and kept me guessing. It's creative and different. I loved Darren. I liked Samantha too but I felt there were times when she put herself in jeopardy needlessly. It didn't ruin the story because the fast pacing kept me reading. I loved the whole Boston locale too.

HASH(0x901cc7f8) out of 5 stars Spectacular Thriller! 12 Dec. 2013

Fragmented is a must-read for anyone and everyone who loves a great "nail biting, can't wait to read what happens next!" suspense thriller. Colleen Connally paints a vivid picture of the smart and sexy Cameron fighting for her family and the brewing romance with the handsome attorney, Kennedy. The unexpected twists in the plot made it hard to put down until the end. Love that the setting takes place in Boston and surrounding area! Completely love the idea that this book is first in a new series and cannot wait to read the next one!

As a Boston native, I thoroughly enjoyed reading a piece that captured the familiar feel of the people, the streets, and even the weather of Boston.
