Product Description
As the name implies, Define Mini is the smaller sibling of the acclaimed and award winning Define R2/R3 case. Being a Micro ATX version of Define R2/R3, it offers a number of interesting functions with a very stylish appearance. It’s a case focused on low noise level, without neglecting other important features such as cooling, expandability and ease of use. The Define Mini excels in including a lot of features in a small size! The Define series is reaching new heights in combining stylish, contemporary design with maximum functionality and noise absorbing features. The minimalistic, yet stunning front panel design, fitted with noise absorbing material on the inside, creates an aura of exclusivity. The patent pending feature ModuVent, in which you can choose whether to have fan slots in the side and top panels open or not, makes the case appealing for users seeking optimal silence, as well as the performance hungry ones. The sleek black interior is matched with pre-fitted, dense noise absorbing material on the side panels, efficiently absorbing noise and vibrations. You can fit an astonishing total of six hard drives into this case, using the user friendly HDD-trays. All painted in a nice white color and using black silicone mounts. PSU is mounted in the bottom of the case, with a convenient pull-out filter beneath it. Are you one of those users always ending up with a case full of tangled cables? No more. The Define Mini offers a convenient and good looking way of hiding them away. The motherboard has a rubber covered hole in which you can easily route the cables behind the motherboard.

Starting from the outside:
The entire body is made of steel apart from the front door (plastic with brushed aluminium look) and the front grills (plastic). The steel is quite thick and the case sides do not flex, bend or dent when kicked (accidentally!). The paint is a matt finish and applied quite thickly, this will not scratch easily.
Moving inside:
Inside are two hard drive bays, each holding 3 disk drive trays. These are of steel construction and are once again superbly made. There is the option to screw the individual trays into the bays but to be honest you would need to run this case over to inadvertently dislodge a tray.
The motherboard mounting wall is of steel construction with many bends to keep it stiff. Guess what, it is solid and wont flex.
Cable management is surprisingly good seeing as there is very limited room behind the back wall. There are plenty of tie downs. But even with the cables poorly tied down the sturdy side panels slide on ,with a bit of force ,compressing the jumble below without breaking a sweat.
One last thing to note is this case is dead silent with stock fans. There is a fan controller included (mounts at the back) and with this you can make the case go from Silent to barely noticeable. I have added a second fan to this case to blow air through the lower drive bay and into the graphics card. This was not strictly necessary, and did make the case slightly louder, but helped keep the GPU temperatures below 70.
To sum up this case is a great choice for any MATX or ITX build. I have no doubt it will look new even after 3 years of abuse.
Worth every penny for a faultless case, 5 starts!
There are other, pro reviews that'll go into all the features of this case, but from my point of view, it's a good case, very quiet with just a CPU fan and PSU inside (using on-board graphics for now) There's loads of space around the motherboard, in fact it's quite dwarfed in there with such a lean spec build as this one. There are 2x 120mm fans supplied, which barely have to do anything but do so ever-so-quietly. There's a removable drive cage, for the fitting of massively long graphics cards, and covered vents on the top for additional fans if needed.
The power switch has a stupidly bright blue LED on/inside it - why so bright?
My only real gripe is that it appears this case has been partially assembled before: paint missing around screw-holes and some screw heads chewed by tools. Possibly a return, possibly a demo-piece. who knows..?
As it happens I'll be building another PC fairly soon, and whilst I'm not that sure about the size of this box, for what goes in it, I'll probably buy it again as it does everything else so well. It's probably overkill for my modest needs, but it looks lush, and at the end of the day, looks and noise will be with you for a lot longer than the memory of assembling it in the first place.

Perfect balance between compact and space though, isn't hard to work in, but once all your hardware is in there, it doesn't look empty, unlike a lot of full size towers.
Included fan controller is a nice touch, as it's goes in the +1 expansion slot (the case uses a 4+1 expansion card slot config) so if you don't need it, you don't have to have it installed, unlike with some other cases where the fan controller is built into the case even if we don't want it.
Aesthetics are really nice if you aren't a 13 year old kid.
So it's a gorgeous case, roomy without being bulky, plenty of room for expansion and fantastic airflow. I just can't give it the full 5 stars because it malfunctioned pretty badly.
I build PCs for people occasionally, and will be recommending that they purchase this case.
Negatives. The front intake filters, cannot be easily removed (needs screwdriver). Still, you can just vacuum them. The blue led light is too bright if you are facing the tower when watching movies. Covered half of it with black insulation tape, problem solved (and did not ruing the aesthetics!)
Highly recommended.
