Levi and Ivy go through a journey of loss and pain only to get their happy too. Love and loss do go hand in hand but it is also a way to heal and to gain some normality back into your life.
I love this story because it tackles the reality of loss. It showcases loss in a way that is doesn’t have to be the end of being happy. It can help you to heal and this is why I love this story. It shows you that life is messy but it is so worth the journey.
I highly recommend this trilogy. It is their best work to date.
Where to begin?! This book was the perfect finale to Ivy and Levi's story. But I have to say for like the first 30-40% of the book I was so sad, depressed, devastated... I just didn't know what to do. I was heartbroken. I mean Cold (book 2) kind of prepares you for it, but damn. That all being said, if you push through the devastation and have the tissues handy, a comfort object, well you can just about get through the emotion to where you feel you can breathe again. You truly believe that no matter what other obsticales come up for these two, man are they just going to fly over, through, or under them like in supermario. Levi was such an amazing support system for Ivy and then they just grew together. There was no serpsrating them. You were able to see clearly the 5 stages of grief and then the relief in the power of love and healing time.
You might go into the book crying like a brand new baby but you will finish it with a sigh and a chuckle. I guarantee that this book will take you on one emotional rollercoaster and is true to the speed of the other two books in this trilogy. It true is so different and wonderful adventure, that Max Monroe has brought to use previously. I would say it is a breath of fresh air of realism and life. Definitely a beautiful wind-down to this trilogy. 100% recommend and you need to have read Stone then Cold in order to follow this book - BUT SO WORTH THE JOURNEY!
This is the final book in the trilogy and there is NO doubt that you have to read them all in order! In fact if you have not read them yet, then you are in a way lucky to not have to wait for them all to be available, as the tension is high.
Do make sure you have a hanky to hand, as this starts with the outcome of the previous book's nightmare being revealed. I never believe that totally bad things can happen in romance novels, but maybe I shall have to be more cautious of thinking that in future. The devastation caused by Ivy's stalker is far reaching. Thankfully Levi and Ivy are solid. His experience with Grace's death and his general good nature, and adoration of Ivy give us hope that the end of this book will finally be good.
Even amongst the sadness, and the crazy, there are some moments of lovely humour, and glimmers of hope. There is also plenty of passion and caring, along with some beautiful surprises.
Thank you Max Munroe ... I shall be reading the trilogy again all in one go sometime soon - possibly when I can afford to buy some more tissues - for reasons happy and sad!

A gripping conclusion to a thrilling trilogy.
I’m a huge fan of these authors and although this trilogy is completely different from their usual style of writing, what’s still guaranteed from start to finish is a gripping story that will have you hooked till the very last page.
It’s harder to review a book that’s part of a trilogy without giving spoilers and after the cliff hanger at the end of Cold, I’m sure you’ll be diving straight into Fox with the same enthusiasm I did anyway. What I will say is that you’re in for an emotional journey that will rip your heart out and then piece it back together bit by bit.
Levi and Ivy come full circle in this final book in the trilogy and although it’s not as dramatic as the first two, it’s still an amazing piece of their story that you don’t want to miss but tissues may be required, lots and lots of them. I would definitely recommend this story and the other two in the trilogy.
