In the first book we know that Sass has always loved Tank but he treats her like a child. He nicknames her Button because she pushes them all. One night of weakness sees her in his bed, the following morning he panics and treats her like a barfly. This she sees as the ultimate betrayal.

During the revenge attack to protect Doll and Sass tank gets shot and spends months in a coma Sass spend time at his bedside begging him to wake up. Meantime the relationship with Nick moves on with speed. She feels like a stepford wife. He persistently cuts off all avenues to the club. Everything call, every visit she is made to feel she is letting Nick and the life he is giving her down. Tank finally wakes only to find the woman he loves gone in more ways than one. He wants her and will stop at nothing to bring her home. Nick discovers the hard way why you never cross a biker club!

This was written from both the main characters perspectives and the male character - well it was innovative.
Cass wants a normal life with a normal man in a normal house, so she settles for Nick and turns her back on the Hellion MC lifestyle and Tank, the man she's loved forever.
Things though, conspire against her and she has to make decisions. Some are made for her.
I liked this but in the first part, the editing left a lot to be desired. For example, I had to keep checking who was speaking. It was really disconcerting.
That aside it was a good read for an MC book. I felt some issues were covered well and some skipped over. Hence four stars.
Suitable for older readers due to content.

Here is the 2nd book in the series and we have Tank and Sass' story.

These books just get better and better.
Tank is a brother that is a playboy through and thorough, after dismissing what could be the love of his life when he was younger. He is spiralling down. Tank is fiercely protective and his life is put on the line when he protects his brothers.

Sass, has had enough of MC life and after her heart is broken that is the last straw, she wants a normal life away from the MC. But she is pulled back when she cannot leave her hearts choice, especially when he is in a coma.

This again was another fantastic read. A emotional one at that, filled with all you need from a biker read.

This is the second book in the Hellions series and one I have been looking forward to reading. The story was set up in the first book, One Ride and is about Tank and Sass.

Whilst I was excited to finally get to see Tank and Sass connect with a whole lot of hotness, it wasn’t to be. Most of the book we see Tank in a coma due to what went down in the first book and Sass away from club life trying to make a go of ‘normal’ with Nick. I couldn’t believe that for all that Tank meant to Sass she was not there for him and it just didn’t feel right.

I found Sass so frustrating and annoying with her feeble attempts to push her friends and family away with her ‘it’s complicated’ reasoning. I really wanted to launch my kindle at the wall! Even when she got all the calls and texts telling her Tank had come round, she didn’t go visit him? Huh?

Nick was another WTF episode. Totally a flip to what he was made out to be in the beginning.

So up until the very end, there was no romance, no forgiving, and no relationship developing. Yes there was a HEA but it was very rushed at the end by which time I had given up all hope and just wanted to finish the book rather than see my gorgeous Tank get his happy ending, because by this time I didn’t like Sass at all.

I did like finding out the history of the club through Tank’s thinking in his coma but I wanted Tank and Sass’ romance and sorting all their troubles, which yes I guess we got but only as a final chapter.

So did I like the book? Well in a way yes but did I get what I was yearning for? Definitely no. Such a shame. Three stars – it was OK.

Savannah or Sass is the daughter of an MC high ranking official. No one is ever gonna be good enough for here. Frankie, or Tank darn well tries, but after one night of unbelievable passion, wires get crossed and she spurns him. Then all hell breaks loose and Tank is left in a coma for months, and Sass has moved on. She loves Nick, he keeps her safe, will look after her, so she truns her back on everything she ever knew, and she just...needs...something.

This book started off so well! its written from both Sass and Tank's point of view, and even though Tank is in a coma for more than half of this book, we get what he is feeling as Sass visits him, every day. The day she says goodbye, he crashes. He can hear her, feel her, and she just left him. I loved how we got all that.

I did not like Nick. Oh, he starts off nice enough, but the gradual emotional abuse he puts on Sass? Nasty piece of work, with an agenda all to his own.

Its written in first person, present tense, and this is not a favourite of mine, and some books can negate that, but not so here.

The stort moves along, at its own sweet pace, its well written, with all the violence we could expect from an MC book, there is sex too, although Tank and Sass only come together the once. It just fell a little flat, for me, towards the end. I cant exactly say where it started to go downhill, I just felt it did.

This is the second in The Hellions Mc series, and I've not read the first. While I managed to follow the plot well enough, from what was said, and Tank's flashbacks in the coma, I think I would have enjoyed it more had I read the first book too. It might have filled a couple of holes.

3.5 fangs, will I read more?? possibly.
