The fourth in the Forever series, and probably one of the most emotional. Faces some of the greatest challenges in life, Jenny and Chance's lives collide.

Jenny faces the challenges of a very public breakup with her "fake" boyfriend and going back to a "normal" college students life.

Chance leaving his life and family behind with only a duffel bag and guitar he starts out on the road from Chattanooga, TN. As he travels the world hitchhiking he has no idea how his life will change when he arrives in LA.

As their lives collide, will Chance and Jenny protect their hearts, body and soul? "Life takes a huge change as Chance continues on the road, but can't seem to get Jenny out of his head. Jenny returns to school only to learn of a life changing event.

Deanna Roy keeps you engrossed as the story of Jenny and Chance unwind. Will they find each other again? Will their love survive? Forever Bound will pull at your heart strings. Another bonus is the beautiful dedication Deanna includes to the Mom's of her readers.

HASH(0x99607f90) out of 5 stars I highly recommend this book. It will touch your heart. 28 July 2015

Forever Bound by Deanna Roy is the fourth book in the Forever series. The Forever series is one of the most emotional and touching series that I have read. Each of the characters in this series is unique, charming, and faced some harsh realities in life. Their strength and perseverance has been admiral. Their dedication their friends and those they love is commendable. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Forever Bound came as a complete surprise to me. It was unpredictable and quite unexpected.

Jenny has been a key secondary character throughout the Forever series. She has come across as a delightful free spirit that loves her friends fiercely. She helps them through all their ups and downs and is their biggest cheerleader. On the surface she comes across as an easy going yet colorful spirit. Beneath the surface, she has her own insecurities and a past she hides behind with her rainbows. Jenny is a positive person despite her past.

When she has to stage a public scene/ break up with her fake boyfriend, a famous Hollywood director, she is feeling a loss. Even though he was a fake boyfriend, he was her security blanket and close friend.

When she meets the sexy singer of the band at the party where her break up is to be staged, he is the perfect candidate. With his good looks and sex appeal, it is going to be a pleasure staging the scene. What she didn't count on was the intense attraction to Chance. What starts as a staged scene turns into a sizzling hot one night stand. Sex on the beach takes on a whole new definition.

That one hot encounter will take on a whole new life once the paparazzi exposes her escapades on the beach. Her life is turned upside down.

Chance is a drifter. He moves from town to town, playing his music, and making enough money to move on. His one night stand with Jenny on the beach has left a lasting impression he can't forget. It also exposed him. He walked away from his family in Chattanooga, TN. He's left behind the mess of his life and refuses to return home.

That one night stand will change both Jenny and Chance's life. It will make them both face their pasts. It will bring something they never knew they wanted or needed. It will bound them together forever.

Not only was Forever Bound a touching, emotional romance; it literally hit close to home for me. I was amazed at the accuracy of the locations throughout the book. Everything about Chattanooga was pin point accurate. I live in this area. The descriptions, names of various places, and street locations was dead on. She captured the feel of the town. She captured the Bible Belt mentality.

Another thing I liked about Forever Bound was the musical references. Dylan Wolf, a rock star character, from the Blue Shoes series by JJ Knight (aka Deanna Roy) made some strong cameo appearances. It was great to see these two series tied together.

Forever Bound can be read as a stand alone romance or in series order. I highly recommend this book. It will touch your heart.

HASH(0x99607f84) out of 5 stars LOVELY STAR CROSSED LOVE!!!! 30 July 2015
By Cindy Sharber - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I was so stuck on this book when I read the first 7 chapters that Deanna sent out to who mailing list fans, that I could not wait and man she did not disappoint.
So this story is about to people who are trying to forget some painful memories in their past and end up doing things they wouldn't normally. Jenny is going to college, working at a coffee shop and acting as a pretend girlfriend to a big movie producer. She gets to go to all the best Hollywood parties, premiers and meets a lot of big name actors, but her time as a pretend girlfriend is coming to an end. The deal was to take as much heat of her producer so he could actually see the one person he is truly in love with and Jenny can't believe that it's coming to an end. She doesn't love him but she truly cares for him and will miss him terribly.
Chance is a boy from Tennessee, who is running from everything and everyone from his past, but his sister. He left home hitch hiking and pretty much singing for his supper along the way. Chance loves to sing and play guitar and would hope one day to maybe to more but for now he just wants to stay under the radar. On his way out of Las Vegas he encounters a sand storm and a kindly old woman see's him and stops to give him a ride. She is very nice, and grandmotherly that Chance immediately likes her, and it's like she can see into him and what he's running from. She give him a ride to San Bernardino where he waits at a truck stop looking for ride to LA when a group of wild guys come in, and it turns out they are a band heading to LA for a gig and offer him a ride. They see his guitar asks if he sings and they share stories and asks if he wants to come along, help set up and just hang out and Chance can't believe his luck.
Now are stars paths cross, Jenny has to find a guy to make it look like she is stepping out on Frankie, when she spots Chance at the base of the stage and figures he with the band. Her arrangement with Frankie was she couldn't be seen with anyone while they were together, so she hasn't been with anyone for four months, and Chance just makes her want to. As she is watching him, he see's her and they just kinda stare one another down across the yard, and Jenny has to hide because it is to soon for anything to happen and she needs to clear it with Frankie. Chance loses sight of her and he can't believe how gorgeous she was and with pink dreadlocks, on has every had pink dread locks. He continues to watch for her and when he see's her again, she is with Frankie, but she nods in his direction and Frankie agrees and then she starts across the yard. By the time she gets to the stage. the lead singer has called him up on stage to sing a song and she stands at the base of the stage and waits. When he starts to sing everything seems perfect, he has a great voice and know how to get it done. When the song ends the crowd is really clapping where they weren't to excited for the band, when Chance leans in and ask if he can sing one more and Paul gives him the go a head. When he starts out, no one could believe the song he chose but he hit every note spot on and had the attention of everyone there. Women were lined up at the stage with the way he was singing but he had eyes only for one and he let his eyes linger longer on her before turning back to the crowd. When he finished the applause was great and he came down off the stage next to Jenny the other very famous actress, and beautiful women came up to him and he grabbed her hand to let her know she was the only one he was interested in and then they made their way thru the crowd and walked thru the gardens. When the reached the edge she grabbed him and kissed him and he gladly went with it and truly enjoy it, when all of a sudden there are bright flashes from a photographer taking there picture. After ward she takes his hand leads him to the house and find a quiet spot to talk and then more kissing. They then leave by limo to go to the beach cause Chance has never seen the ocean, and Jenny is more than ready to give him this and more. Jenny was never this way but she has been celibate for four months so maybe that's all it is. While they are walking along the beach they are very flirty with one another when Jenny hikes her dress up her hips so she can run in the surf and when Chance catches and picks her up she wraps her legs around him and they kiss for a long while. Jenny tells him there is a cropping of rocks just down the way where they could have private space. When they get there they are all over one another and it's like neither of them can wait and they get very busy. After wards Jenny runs out from the rocks and into the ocean and Chance follows saying how crazy she is. Once their dressed and back in the limo everything is fine until Chance says he doesn't know how long he'll be in LA making Jenny feel like something is wrong. By the time they get back to the party, they are barely speaking, and Chance gets out and doesn't look back. He find the band packing up and he helps, til a big name actress approaches him and invites him to basically spend the night with her, but he can't do it and the band members are astounded. They offer to give him part of the money and he says a place to crash and shower was good enough. The next day he is awaken by one of the band and he has brought a friend, Dylan Wolfe, who used to sing on the corner and anywhere he could until he got a big time record deal but he never forgets where he comes from and always try's to help young struggling artist when he can, that's how the band got the gig for the party. They go to breakfast and Chance phone starts blowing up with text from home. He doesn't understand what the texts mean when Dylan taps on his phone and and brings up footage & the picture of him and Jenny kissing, it was everywhere. Chance freaks out and says he gotta leave this is not what he was looking for, and didn't want all this exposure. Chance hits the road and continues his travels, while Jenny now has to get on with her life and finish school and get her degree.
A few days later Jenny is freaking out about she don't really know Chance and she thinks she should go get a panel done to make sure she didn't contract anything. While at the drs. he mention that they should do a work up for her birth control and she like know it's not time, she knows she saw three packs at home so it couldn't be time. So life goes on, but more often than not both Jenny & Chance thinking about the other one more than they want to admit. Jenny starts feeling sick and she has a bad feeling she knows but she doesn't know if she really wants the truth but she sucks it up. takes the test, and yep she pregnant. Both of her best friends are away since it's winter break, and she needs someone so she decides to go to her mom. She tells her everything and her mom helps her put a plan in motion. She on the trail to find Chance and tell him what's happen and tell him the truth. She get's hold of the band thru e-mail, goes to see them and gets valuable information about Chance and when she feels like she has enough she tells her mom and she's on a plane to Tennessee to find Chance.
At this time Chance has come across the country from Portland, to New York, down the east coast and is in Atlanta. He's so close to home he thinks maybe it's time, but he can't get his mind off Jenny, while he was in Virginia he made it to the beach and all the memories come flooding back and all he wants is the girl with the pink dread locks.
Now Jenny has made it to Chattanogga and starts her journey to track down where Chance bought his guitar, then a address, then to a hotel.
So he does find the store, gets an address, and goes to a hotel to get a room. She looks up the address on map quest, and walks there and meets three guys who are friends of Chance, they help her by taking her to meet Charlie the only person they know Chance keeps in touch with, and runs into Chance's mother who takes her to see Hannah, the sister. (not letting you in on anything to do with the sister, it is so much a big part of this story I can't spoil it). Meeting Charlie didn't go to well, but it did cause her to call Chance and that brought him running back home, to Jenny. Must be something big for her to come looking for him and tracking down everyone who knew him to find him, he was really impressed.
Ok, I really hate to do this but I really gotta stop or your not gonna want to rad the book. This is such a wonderful story of star crossed love, but there is a very happy ending for everyone in this story. So PLZ, go grab a copy, you will not be disappointed.
HASH(0x9d569300) out of 5 stars A must read story and series!! 5 Aug. 2015

Absolutely loved this story! Deanna Roy knows how to write anything though!!
This story is written in alternating POV's, which is great because then you get to see both Jenny and Chase's thoughts and where things are going in their minds.
I was upset when the book came to an end. I was so enthralled with the story, I just didn't want it to end.
The writing is excellent. There is great detail to things that you not wondering what Deanna meant and you could fall right into the story as if you were the character.
Jenny and Chase knew they had something special when they both felt emotion, although it was meant to be a one night stand, and neither of them could explain what they felt when they were on the beach.
This was a great story. Not only was it a HEA, but it also had real life things intertwined with it, so it did not seem like just a fairytale story. It felt more real life. More believable. <3

I have loved the Forever Series ever since Forever Innocent. Each book gets better and better with each character bringing something different to the series. I knew that Jenny was far more than what she portrays herself to be and with this book you'll see that. You'll understand her and her ways of doing things. Chance oh my what can I say about him? LOVE that's what! Total book boyfriend material! Be ready to be taken on a journey that their story will lead you on. As with all of Deanna's books they are automatic one-clicks that you never have to hesitate to do because you know that all of her books are guaranteed to be phenomenal!
