Wow. Lily learns she's pregnant but it is never easy to learn that her one night with her best friend could leave her in this predicament.
Cole left to go to uni so she turns to sloan, her best friends brother who she's been in love with for years.
They form a bond and plan together but how long before Cole finds out the truth.
A must read.

Really liked this story, Sloan a brooding hunk of a man, who for years protected his younger brother, Cole. He dreaded Cole's friend Lily coming over, and at first you think its because he didn't want or need the extra responsibility, when he has been harboring his desire to be with Lily.

Lily, a sweet small town girl has been friends with Cole since forever, they make a pact about loosing their 'V' cards to each other, which ends in a thing of beauty coming from their union.

Cole then goes off to College, he is off to study law, and as soon as Lily finds out why she has been feeling poorly, she immediately goes to Sloan so he can take her to see Cole at College with her news.

Sloan takes the news so calmly, and they start on their journey, Sloan immediately wants more out of this situation, but Lily thought he was only do so out of duty.

When they get to Cole at College, they are both introduced to his girlfriend Beth, and something stops them from telling him the truth as to their visit.

Tough tough decision, and I'm in agreement Cole would have dropped everything to be at his friends side.

I loved the connection between Sloan and Lilly he was determined to be part of her life and not just as a bystander.

Small town problems, Oh my goodness, don't you love the town gossip queen! Georgia May did make me cringe but i also loved how Lily's mom firmly put her in her place, Georgia May told everyone in town before Lily had time to tell her parents.

Lily's parents were great, I thought Lily was a little harsh, on not wanting to bring tife into the tiny home she shared with them, but so pleased Lily took Sloan seriously.

They were scorching hot together.

This review is 3.5 stars.
Cole and Lily have been best friends since childhood. They have spent days and nights in each other’s company but only ever platonically, until just before Cole leaves for college when they decide to lose their virginity to each other. This experience is quick and unfulfilling and neither thinks about the consequences until months later when Lily discovers she is pregnant.
Sloan is Cole’s elder brother; tattooed, sexy and brooding. Sloan has taken guardianship of Cole since their mother’s death, running a business and protecting him when their drunk father visits. The relationship between Sloan and Lily has always been filled with tension, partly because she is unsure of how to act around him, affected by her strong desire for him to claim her.
When Lily shows up at Sloan’s door begging that he take her to visit Cole he is concerned, especially when she reveals she is expecting Cole’s baby. Morgana Phoenix takes the interesting move of alternating the narrative so that we understand both Sloan and Lily’s intentions and thoughts. It quickly becomes apparent that Sloan is more uncomfortable with the situation because of the long-standing attraction he has towards Lily.
When both of them agree that telling Cole, who is settled at college and has a girlfriend, would be unfair, Sloan makes the unexpected move of claiming he is the father when the town begins to gossip.
Forever His Baby follows Sloan and Lily as they initially attempt to be friends and disguise their feelings from each other, then progressing to more. I loved the bus-stop scene in which Sloan overhears Lily’s declarations, forcing him to make his own.

Forever His Baby by Morgana Phoenix & Airicka Phoenix

Review by Becky Harley

5 Stars

I loved this book.

I couldn’t put this book down. All of the characters are loveable and relatable and the story is heartwarming and captivating.

This is an emotional story which deals with pregnancy, family, friendship and relationships. Each of the characters brings a new dynamic to the story and the way in which they all interact compliments the different characters and personalities.

The way in which Lily and Sloan choose to deal with the situation is understandable and the development of their relationship is honest and gripping. Cole’s reaction to the situation is also understandable.

The way in which the story is resolved brings to light the best aspects of each of the characters and really emphasises the responsibility and honour they each have.

Overall a heartwarming and emotional story which I would recommend to anyone.
