An excellent book, from May 2006, but essentially an earlier version of the book "Foods to Fight Cancer" Paperback, of May 2007, by the same authors, Denis Gingras and Richard Béliveau.

It would be best to get the later version, as that is much less expensive, and is perhaps a bit more up to date.

I made the mistake of buying both, this one costing me £28.80, including delivery, as a good used copy, the other costing me £5.34, including delivery, as a good used copy.

So don't get this, but get the later equivalent version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book 26 Nov. 2012

This is a great reference book, very enjoyable to read, with beautiful photographs, and filled with scientific information about the richness in nature of anticancer chemicals contained in fruits, vegetables, animal protein and others, when consumed fresh and unprocessed. The authors make the point that eating healthy alone could protect us to a great extent against cancer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Things you should know 6 May 2007

I read quite widely but this easy-to-read book has a large amount of information I had not come accross before. Its focus is to give you information that helps you to understand cancer so you can take steps to place yourself at lower risk for cancer. We all know about not smoking but there is lots more you can do. It is especially credible since its written by eminent cancer researchers who head up cancer research labs.
