A reissue of one on the most important recordings from the 1960s Folk Revival. The roots of the British acoustic guitar school, folk-rock and the singer-songwriter movement can all be traced back to Folk, Blues & Beyond. The recording was first released by Decca Records in January 1965 and quickly helped to establish Davy Graham's reputation. For this newly remastered edition Fledg'ling have restored all the elements of the original artwork, added five bonus tracks from two rare EPs and added several previously unpublished photographs. New sleeve-note essay by Ken Hunt.

If you are a fan of almost any acoustic guitarist in the past 40 years - Roy Harper, Al Stewart, Paul Simon, Jimmy Page, Richard Thompson, Eric Clapton, [insert name of guitar hero here], then you should, no, MUST have this in your collection.
Stunning technique, amazing invention, exotic combinations - all the jazz, folk, blues and world music radiates from here. What a waste of 40 years, listening to copies (however excellent) of this master.
Now... what else has Amazon got to offer? Ah! "Large as Life and Twice and Natural" - sounds interesting, and what's this... backed by who? Jon Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith and Danny Thompson...? That makes a lot of sense - the ultimate jazz-rock group (Colosseum) with the ultimate folk bass-player... bring it on!
An acoustic guitar tour de force, impeccably played, a mixture of original songs and covers, this release from Les Cousins comes with 5 Bonus tracks including a live version of his signature tune 'Anji'. Mastered a tad loud but not unbearably this should be in every guitar players collection.

so many influences meld together blues, jazz, folk and arabic- this guy brought us
