Photography advice is amateurish, though it's often central to safaris. I almost fell of my chair reading that you can't hand hold anything above 200mm. Yes, of course if you've had 5 jars of coffee you're going to struggle, but guess what - that isn't the norm in the bush.
All in all skip the book - free resources like WikiTravel will do a lot better.
