Flutter did not leave me disappointed and it has left me with some hope that Alice & Peter will ended up together!
I'm so glad the author added more time for them in the book & I really hope that Alice realises that its meant to be with Peter, otherwise I will be left completely devastated! :(
This story had a lot more action from the start which I really enjoyed and I loved how Mae/Ezra/Milo & Bobby have had more input too. It has left me with a lot of new questions with their characters which I'm really looking forward to finding out.
Overall, another great book to a great series and I can not wait to pick up the next one!
This is the best of this series so far. This is what I've been waiting for. There's lots of action and drama and Hocking really gets to stretch her imaginative muscles, which is how she does it best.
I loved the idea that lycans are in fact rabid vampires rather than werewolves, thought that was pretty cool. And the characters she introduced were distinctive and yet wonderfully camp (in a scary way though, there are some gruesome moments).
For me the best part of the novel was Alice's first person narrative. It has improved so much since she became a vampire mostly because I think Amanda's handle on the bloodlust is perfect. Never at any point did I forget that Alice was a vampire hungering for blood and I think this may be one of the best handling's of a vampire first person narrative I've read.
Action-packed, tense, exciting and cool. Five stars!
I still dont know what Alice looks like and I like to have images in my mind when I read about the people, all the others have a face explained but the main character is blank.
I hate all the little grammer mistakes still, if you scan read you may not notice as much but I like to really read a book.
Think I may take up proof reading!
