Fufu is a dough-like food popular in West African. The easiest way to prepare is to mix in hot boiling water to your desire consistency. Allow to sit or microwave for 5 minutes, before enjoying with your favourite soup.

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl (except for the butter and chocolate chips) while adding the butter in gradual increment until dough is grainy.
  • Using your hands, make the dough into balls and press down on the baking sheet to form the cookies. Bake in pre-heated oven to 350 F for 30 mins.
  • In a saucepan, melt the chocolate over medium low heat. Place the melted chocolate into a bowl. Dip the cookies in, then sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
