In Flavours of Thoughts, Tom Evans gives permission to think about thinking - over ruling my mother's mantra of "you think too much". This encouragement has been inspiring, energising and illuminating. The opportunity to engage in this realm of thinking is empowering and the possibilities endless. The recipes are endless - the solutions infinite - nothing is too big to consider, no idea or ingredient too small to relish :) thank you Tom

Tom's approach to thinking gives a new way to understand, explain and, most importantly, use our thinking to clarify and improve our world. The descriptions of the flavours themselves are clear yet deeply insightful. And where the genius comes is in the recipes, combining the flavours to create solutions to recurring problem thoughts for everyday use. As well as making us more aware of thoughts that don't really serve us, Tom's recipes provide a ready reference guide to resolving them. Highly recommended.

This is a delicious recipe book, filled with fresh ideas for thinking outside of the box, as well as on top of several boxes stacked together. On first pass I bookmarked several 'recipes' that resonated with me quite deeply and on my second read I discovered the richness that comes from combining deceptively simple ideas! If you are looking for a new way to think about your goals, challenges and emotions in light-hearted yet effective way then Flavours of Thought will certainly whet your appetite!

I heard Tom speak on Tuesday at an event and bought the book...really out of curiosity...but as a process driven personality I have found it enlightening...to free myself from the treadmill of unproductive thoughts and to be able to channel that energy into a process which unblocks my creativity and productivity is a complete blessing...and I haven't even read the whole book yet...but just knowing it can be done...has created freedom and clarity for me...thanks Tom!!

You know how you just kind of 'know' that there is something out there? How you believe synchronicity exists and that ideas float in and out of our brains, often reappearing , for a reason? This book helps us to make sense of those vague feelings that can send tingles up our spine and hearts racing. It can put words to our thoughts and add reason to our random thoughts. It helps make the seemingly illogical logical. This is a book that I would return to again and again. It's modern wisdom in a nutshell. Bitesized chunks of meaty inspiration in a sauce of common sense. Reading it tickles the tastebuds and makes us hungry for more. Like the best food it needs to be enjoyed slowly, each morsel chewed over and over, as each flavour is extracted and its essence absorbed.

I loved this. That it is the sequel to Lightbulb Moments and yet is released first, somehow makes perfect sense.

This is a unique, inciteful and thoroughly enjoyable read. If there is a more accesible way of accessing and understanding these issues then I have not, as yet, come across it. By using the analogy of combining ingredients to make recipes, Tom has opened up a perspective to our thoughts, emotions and behaviour that is inciteful and compelling. He has the ability to distill the essentials from these complex matters without in any way diluting their relevance or inter-relational aspects. In fact, it is the inter-relation of the "ingredients" and the subsequent "making recipes" that enhances the accessability and enjoyment of the book. The ingredients, thoughts and "flavours of thoughts", are all our own to combine but Tom gives us a guide to their meaning and even provides us with a few easy-to-make "recipes" to get us going. Thoroughly unique and enjoyable I will certainly be using this book time and again to follow the recipes as given and to create some of my own.

In this intuitive and concise work, Tom Evans has clearly and carefully enabled his readership to embrace transformation through recognition of thoughts. Upon reading this book I was able to find direction and tackle my latest project as well as find a path for my soul. It is powerfully crafted and the techniques contained therein are easy to apply - I have with the help of this cleverly constructed book been able to produce the first draft of my own work; Tarradiddle - Offbeat Tales & Alchemical Eats and this would not have happened without the knowledge conveyed by the Author. I believe this book is not only very good value but invaluable for any creative project and send a special thanks to the author.
