Tons better than the EA active red band

As soon as you open the packaging and feel the weight of this band you gain a sense of trepidation for your first workout. The handles from the red band fit as easily. As I am over 6 feet 1 I am unable to do the overhead shoulder raises with this band (I'm not that strong) but it ticks every other box for the sports exercises to follow on screen with EA Sports Active. My biceps will soon be the size of Bournemouth thanks to this new band and I heartily recommend it as an addition to the red one which I still use for overhead exercises - great price too and very well packaged. Item arrived within 3 days.

A BAND TO FAR?

Arrived quickly. I am six feet and I was able to do a full overhead stretch with effort. Works very well. Only downside was that when I connected rings to each end for ease of use, about two inches of the band snapped of after about five minutes of heavy stretching. However it has worked perfectly since without the rings.

Big step up from the EA resistance band!

As a previous reviewer suggested, I bought this as a replacement for the packaged resistance band from EA Sports Active, which wasn't giving me much of a workout - and then broke when I folded it up to increase the intensity!

This band is a whole different story though. Right out of the box it offers considerably more resistance. I just finished my first Active workout using it and my shoulders are really feeling it - in a good way (I hope)! The band feels strong, well made and unlikely to snap - unlike the EA version.

One word of caution, if you use the handles from Sports Active with the band, which is what I'm doing, then you may find that the handles cut into your hands during some of the exercises, such as the overhead shoulder raises. You might want to invest in a pair of gloves or something to combat this.

Overall, a fine product at a low price.

Great resistance!

I've been using this for a week now. Bought it as an alternative to using the red band supplied with 'EA Sports Active' on the Nintendo Wii, as it wasn't giving me enough of a workout. I really got a lot more benefit from this and found myself both sweating and aching a lot more after my sessions.

No problems attaching it to the handles supplied with Sports Active. I'd recommend it to anyone who has found using the supplied band a little too easy.
