If I could give zero stars for this I would. What fitbit don't advertise is that they're happy for this scale to be out by 2 pounds either side of your weight. Therefore when the scale tells you multiple weights within the space of a few minutes they deem this acceptable. My scale is sometimes showing discrepancies of up to 5 pounds. I have contacted fitbit and got the same instructions multiple times none of which have worked. Now it won't connect to the Wi-Fi either and is therefore useless. Awful product, overpriced and awful customer service when you complain.
Planned to stop working via software update issued by Fiitbit that renders the unit useless after warranty has run out, happened with the original Aria scale after two years. Research V.39 update if interested. DO NOT BUY!
This is a massive improvement! Well done Fitbit! The earlier model was useless and returned. This works perfectly with all of our devices and looks lovely in black. It’s going to compliment our watches which all the family use and already has aided me in making sensible health gains. So happy!!!
I’m baffled how and why fitbit think this is a medical device. It is completely useless for measuring body fat. You get inconsistent body fat readings. Worst still you’d think that it would atleast give u an accurate weight consistently - it doesn’t. For example if I get on scales it says 11st7lbs for example. I get off and get on with some weights then go off then come back on again with nothing on. It now shows 11st 5lbs.
It seriously baffles me that fitbit have stooped so low to state these are medical devices when it can’t give basic consistent readings. The picture I’ve added shows the weight taken in the space of 10mins.
