Smoking is a method used for many centuries to preserve meat of fish. The Traditional Food Smoking Cabinet is perfect as a fish smoker or meat smoker. The Traditional Fish and Meat Smoker comes as a complete package and measures a huge 115cm high x 39cm wide x 21cm deep - an incredible capacity for hanging eels, fish or huge meat joints such as ham or bacon. Manufactured from the highest quality and supplied with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. These traditional smokers use a modern design to control the optimization of the smoke - with two lateral channels which directs the hot smoke upward and allowing to cool when cold smoking. This Traditional Fish and Meat Smoker is versatile having 2 racks supplied shaped conveniently to sit whole fish in them, along with a traditional rack for meats and cheeses. The Traditional smoker uses wood dust as a source of smoke. Very easy to use, simply lay the Wood Dust in the bowl and use a low heat from the electric element - this gently smoulders the wood dust which then fills the cabinet with a warm smoke. There are air vents at the bottom and top of the Smoker allowing control over the smoke density and heat within the smoker cabinet. Cold Smoking Can be achieved in this cabinet - subject to the ambient outside temperatures being correct. Simply use the electric element to start the dust smouldering and turn the electric off - this will remove the heat allowing for gentle cold smoking.
