Format: Paperback
this book is an excellent down to earth guide to planting. first time gardeners will find geoff's style of writng so approachable, encouraging and easy to follow. i love the new garden make over fashion ideas from other sources, but you still need geoff's advice on planting, otherwise the lovely plant which you thought would look brilliant in that dark corner might not survive if it requires full sun.

Geoff Hamilton was streets ahead of anybody else and no one has come any where near him since, except perhaps for Monty Don.

Wonderfully sensible and practicable.
