Nicely presented little book for younger children, though it doesn't have as many words as I thought it would. Even some of the more obvious words have been excluded.

Other French books such as Usbornes Picture Dictionary in French have a similar style but with many more words as well as sentences and basic information about French grammer.

Usbornes Big Book of French Words is another one to consider. It doesn't have the example sentences that are in the Picture Dictionary in French book though it's still a beautiful book.

GOOD BOOK BUT WAS SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN EXPECTED - EASY TO USE AND READ. GREAT FOR STARTING FRENCH WITH KIDS WHO ARE AT READING AGE.

I have bought this book for my granddaughter aged 7 who has just started to learn French. I think it would be just as good for an older person who is beginning to learn the French language. It arrived very quickly and was perfectly packaged.

Hard wearing card book which would suit a young child. it is fine for my 3 year old as she is learning French at pre school but it would be a bit babyish looking for older children.

Just right for small people learning vocabulary. However, one quibble is that when reading together it helps to have a good accent and to be able to speak grammatically so that small person hears as well as sees and tries.
