I used to read Christie Ridgway novels quite a few years ago. I remember at the time I had the second book after this 'Then Comes Marriage' yet this book was the only one of hers I didn't have and when I searched for it, I couldn't find it so I was really pleased to see it in the Kindle free downloads.

If you like Rachel Gibson etc, you will like this. It's a good romantic read with humour and romance and as usual with this author, a secondary romance going on.

I was pleased to finally get to read it. Whilst it didn't disappoint, it did feel a little dated but it is an old book and my reading tastes have changed a lot since I first read this authors books. I also recommend the follow on book 'Then Comes Marriage'.

I've enjoyed authors other books but not this. Tried to be romantic comedy. I didn't like the female ccupations and the angst was trying. Not my cup of tea at all. I wasn't engaged with characters or story. Agree with others, very little story.

Full points for plot, location and Heroine's job originality. As is usual in Christie Ridgway's works, found myself drawn to the secondary romance as well and whilst I am usually all for warm and fuzzy moments, I am glad they didn't force the Kitty/Samantha angle.

I really liked this book, I thought the main characters were fun though each had their own reasons and troubles to contribute, and at times it felt that there was a little too much of that, whick is the reason that his book got four stars (Dylans tortured hero bit was a bit much at times) but I loved the interaction between Kitty and Dylan and the secondary characters.
If you're looking for a book that will easily carry you to someplace else for a few hours, this is it.
It's a lovely romance novel, that will keep me entertained when I read it again.
