One poor picture. No instructions.
To help future purchasers:
Check you have everything.
Assemble top part with large locking nut and centre stand first. You may have trouble aligning holes for screws. Do not tap top of stand. You will break the centre shaft.
Connect bottom stand to the other two.
Turn over the flat base ( suggest glueing) and press in the rubber. Feet into the holes.
Turn over the flat base and unscrew the three silver screws. Place the assembled shaft over the top of the base and screw partly into it. Meantime with the base on it's side screw the L shaped threaded/plain key into the base of the assembled shaft. Tighten but not too hard. Place base down and finish screwing in the three screws.
Now release the large black nut at the top of the shaft. This can be used to extend the hieght. Pull the inside out about 3" or 7cm and tighten the nut.
Carefully drop the heating element on to this, making sure it goes in fully in. If not take off and lengthen the centre.
Tighten large nut again. Fasten the heating unit by tightening using the black knurled screw at the back.
The angle of heater can be adjusted using a screwdriver on the side locking screw.
Do not use a mallet on the top knocking down to get the 4 screws to match up! It will damage the extending shaft at the top.
After a frustrating time I drilled the holes oversize ( not the threaded holes) to match up. You may not have this problem!
The phone help is not good!
Apart from no written instructions I would recommend.
Unless you are 500mm to 1000mm away you dont feel any heat .
Had to drill my own holes to fix pole to base due to poor manufacture design. This then invalidates warranty so i been told .
First time I used it, I wasn't too impressed, but that was most probably down to the cool breeze coming in from the North Sea coast that evening.
Second time out, we had to turn it down a couple of notches as our patio was too warm!
We also have a chimenea on our patio, which we wouldn't do without, but this heater boosted the warmth we now feel on a cooler evening and means we have a wider "warmth zone".
The heater it's self took around 5 minutes to put together, plug in and have working. It is a little larger than I thought it would be, but this is no bad thing.
Don't expect blazing heat, but do expect it to take the chill out of the air and make your outdoor occasion warmer and more comfortable.
With barbeque season upon us properly now, we shall be using this a lot more.
The stand is sturdy with the adjustable pole also being a handy feature
