Review

Warriors: Into The Wild is the best book I've read in ages. It's really exciting and it's got lots of humour too! Even better than Brian Jaques’ Redwall. I can't wait for the next one!

John Wood (age 12)

“Characters remain true to their feline natures, adding to the plausibility of events in this tension-filled story. Readers will be happy to learn that another episode is in the works” Booklist

good prose and characters, interesting plot. main criticisms are of cat behaviours but likely do to being written before a lot of modern cat research

This book is amazing! Highly recommended for animal and cat lovers of all ages! When i first got the second book of the series, i couldnt put it down, it was sooooooo good! It is not babyish in any way, and the writers who nicknamed them selves Erin Hunter arw amazing also! They have written 4 series, as well as lots of other books, whether about certain cat like Bluestar's Prophecy, or info mation like Code of the Clans. I strongly reccomend this book, and hopw it brings you as much joy as it has me!
P.S: if you love the warrior ctas, then try this new blogging site:[...]
It is a new site, and will be a bit slow to start with, but once it gains memebers, it will get better. =)

Things are more suspensive and even darker in this book, at times, than in the prequel. Absolutely fantastic ideas that really keep you hooked. All of the secrecy and the lies tell you that something is being plotted all the way through. Fireheart, the main character, knows this but can't tell anyone until he has proof and an explanation as to what it is. It almost reminds me of the newer Harry Potter books, but with cats and no magic.

The mythical ideas are great too. Starclan and the Moonstone and everything else.

This book is for people who like tales of mystery, betrayal, drama and, of course, cats.

I can't wait to read the third book, Forest of Secrets.

Fire and Ice is a mixture of true loyalty, suspence, adventure wnd much more.

It continues straight on from the last one and is just as thrilling as the first. The author of this book has created a world where war is the first lesson to learn at school. From killing to hunting and breaking the warrior code to showing incredible loyalty this book has impressed me by keeping me reading it no matter what time.

If you buy this book you won't feel sorry for yourself, I can assure you of that.

Excellent! I have read it on my kindle and it always makes you think, "what is going to happen next?" or "why did this have to happen?"
I've read the first book, ("Into The Wild") and its just as good.
Suitable book for children aged about 12, some parts are difficult to understand.

I was so so so shocked. Me and my 3 best friends used to play Warrior Cats because my best friend Skyla told us about it at her sleepover. I told her a few weeks later that I had the book and we were so happy! I told her about Rusty and his dream and everything else. She was happy aswell and agreed that it was in the book. I also told ger about Greypaw.
Skyla says,"Abby, you do realize that Greypaw is umm… Firestar, right?" (She is such a story spoiler!).
I answer speechles,"Umm… erm… w… w… what?! Oh oh oh my gosh! REALLY? YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, RIGHT?!"
"Umm… no,"
"So you mean,"
"Ah ha, ya,"
I am in awe. I mean this series is just getting better and better!

*SPOILERS* Naturally, I, as a Warriors big fan, would have rated this book five stars. Well, who cares, what was I thinking? I still love this book!

Our friend Firepaw is back, only he isn't the apprentice we used to know...but Fireheart, a warrior of ThunderClan. He, along with his friend Graypaw, now Graystripe, go on an important mission to retrieve WindClan and take them back to their home, after they were driven out and ShadowClan and RiverClan could hunt in the uplands, their territory. The two friends follow many twists and turns as they cross Thunderpaths, pick up scents and shelter and tunnel in holes to find the lost clan. After finding them, StarClan sends a bad omen by making it appear as is the clouds were stained with blood - and there would be an unnecessary death. Later, ThunderClan takes WindClan back home via the perilous gorge, which meant crossing into enemy territory. A RiverClan patrol spots them and the two cats and WindClan fight them. A RiverClan cat accidentally gets drowned in the gorge as a result of Graystripe. Fireheart remembers StarClan's warning at the same moment of Whiteclaw's death.

As arguments rise in the four clans, unexpected things go on at the wrong time. Fireheart finds out that Graystripe is in love with Silverstream, a RiverClan she-cat. Will their love endanger them both? And how does it affect...Fireheart? Read this book to find out, it is highly recommended to all!
