I love Brittainy C Cherry as an author, I have read all of her book and I love them. This book is flawless, absolutely stunning, beautifully written in every way.
This is the story of Logan and Alyssa, two totally different souls from different backgrounds but pulled together like magnets, brought together by the lack of love and devotion by their sets of parents- the one thing they have in common. Allyssa comes from a wealthy background but her mother is opinionated, stubborn focused on work, her father has left and found a new family. Logan dragged up, his mother a junkie and his father cruel and aggressive, himself on drugs by the time he was 16. He knew no other life until he met Alyssa, she was his light in the dark. "She believed in God, whilst I danced with Demon's" They fell in love but Logan didn't want to pull Alyssa into the dark with him, ruin her beautiful soul - he loved her too much for that . So he run, and left her broken and bleeding, there is a five year gap and Logan is back for his brother Kellan's wedding but what is he walking into. What trouble lies ahead ?
There are some brilliant secondary characters in this story - Kellan, Ericka - Alyssa's sister and both Mum's make a big impact on this story. Brittainy C Cherry writes with her heart and soul, pours everything into a book and gives it her all, and in turn this story gives you love, hate, heartbreak, hope, pain, struggle, devotion, family and so much more, it breaks your heart and then puts it back together again only to break it apart again. There are so many high's and so many lows it will have your head spinning, and when a book raises emotions like this and devours your time until you simply cannot put it down, you know you've hit a winner. An utterly beautiful heartbreaking wonderful book that is most defiantly not to be missed !!!

Logan and Alyssa have been best friends for so long. Logan’s dad is non existent and his mother is out of it all the time, so his living arrangements are less than ideal. Kellan, his brother lives quite a while away so he hasn’t been around as much. Logan has had to do some questionable things just to make sure the rent is paid and that he has some semblance of food in the house.

Alyssa has a mother who constantly belittles her, makes her feel like she means nothing and doesn’t see the emotional turmoil she is placing on her own daughter. In the process of reading this book, I felt a whole wide range of emotions that made me feel like I was angry, sad, emotional, laughing and just basically totally all over the place.

“Logan was home to me.”

Alyssa has never denied the depth of her feelings for Logan, he’s hers. He has always been hers regardless of the ups and downs that occur in this book. Brittainy has a talent for drawing out the raw emotions in a reader and keeping them so invested in the book.
Logan gets himself into a really bad place and finds himself leaving town to try and find himself again but time flies and he gets dragged back into town again where his Alyssa awaits.

“You’re it for me Logan. Yesterday, today, tomorrow – I’m yours. You’re my eternal flame.”

Ah Logan and Alyssa, your story has taken me on a journey, I loved feeling every emotion, every tear just feeling everything. Highly recommend this book!

High.Low.Heaven.Hell.Him. Me.Us

I can't find the words that was a breathtaking read. Filled with beautiful words & quotes it was heartwarming, soul searching, heartbreaking you felt the happy the sad and the hurts, Brittainy C Cherry can certainly move you with her words in print.

Home was a feeling from the ones for whom you cared most, a feeling that calmed the wildfires of your soul.

Absolutely Loved and fell in love with the characters.

Childhood friends to lovers, a journey filled with highs and lows. Two opposites, one grounded, one not so, one wrong one right and two people who were born to be together.

She came from a lifestyle where fancy dinners were normal, I came from a world where dinner wasn't always available.

She believed in God while I danced with demons.

She was my best friend the highlight to my shitty day.

Her laughs became my inhales. Her smiles became my heartbeats.

A truly emotional journey of two hearts bound together, torn apart by issues and brought back together by circumstances.

A story that brilliantly flowed, he called her high she called him Lo.

Told in dual pov's, I absorbed the plot, it was a brilliant read that I couldn't put down.

"For always high" "For always Lo"

I'm kicking myself for putting this book off for six months. See, I was really nervous to start it because I didn't want to hate Logan. And guess what? I did hate him .... for a while. I should have had faith in Ms Cherry that she would change my mind for me, and she did.

Some might say Aly was a doormat, I didn't see her that way at all. She was exactly what Logan needed - gentle, caring, patient, understanding and above all gave him his space that he had to have to begin to heal. I loved seeing his healing and growth as a person that could be trusted and counted on.

Logan made me so mad at times, he was an utter pig to Aly. They say you always hurt the one you love and Logan was the poster child and had it honed down to a fine art at times. But once I got the whole picture I forgave him, as Aly did.

Another absolutely gorgeous read from Ms Cherry that made me cry. I'm looking at you Kellan!!
