An absolutely outstanding story. Without the explicit sex it is an irresistable read, add the sexual content and it could not be improved upon no matter how hard you tried. Outstanding and worthy of the five star ratings it has recieved so far I was unable to put it down once I began to read. Catherine Taylor deserves a place at the head of the erotic writer's list of greats. Thank you Catherine I now have to find and read much more of your work.

You know, I spend a lot on books so it is an absolute delight to have a book for free, and when it is of this calibre it makes my day!!

This is a book about Mairead (pronounced Parade), she is an olympic gymnast who is frankly off the rails. She is so utterly vulnerable and self destructive.

The story is a bit of a thriller as Mairead winds up in hospital after a sorry drink and drugs binge where her friend falls off a balcony and dies in suspicious circumstances. Mairead's behaviour on this occasion is 'off the charts dysfunctional' and she is filmed on a phone offering her virginity to the highest bidder.

Mairead is a New Zealander but is a long way from her home in Australia, she feels completely isolated until the arrival of James Vaughn, her chauffeur and bodyguard and the one man who can subdue and protect her.

This couple have had a professional relationship for the last 5 years but thrown into an extreme situation together the barriers that have dictated their friendship are broken down and something very good starts to grow.............but there is the camera footage, Mairead was too inebriated to remember what happened and too vulnerable and self destructive to accept that it may just not be her fault.

I don't normally writes reviews but couldn't help myself :0). Was a free download so thought why not, so pleased I did. From page one I was hooked and couldn't put it down, my house is a total mess, the hubby and kids were served up burnt food and I have bags under my eyes from staying up half the night, but it was worth it
Thank you, thank you thank you Catherine Taylor I look forward to your future books

I normally hate books this long as I have to keep putting them down as I can't hold my ipad for that long - I started reading this book and put it done at 1am in the morning when I was to be up 8 hours later to go out - however I could not get to sleep and I didn't put it down till 6am - I finally finished the book after my day out and and since brought the next 2 books in the series.

When I started reading this I thought great a spoiled brat who's gonna get her way all the time, but in fact she kept getting herself into trouble and the man she loved keep getting her put of it. I great romance in the end and a great read

I enjoyed reading this book. I found it made me feel all sorts of emotions both towards the story and the characters. Some places I didn't want to carry on with the story, it made me uncomfortable but I found it compelling. This book is erotic and has violence. The characters, wether you loved them or hated them were believable. For a free book this story was great. I will more than likely read the next book but I need a breather first!!

This was a free book so before downloading, I thought I would check out the reviews. They varied but were mainly good, most said it was well-written, personally I think the first half is quite stilted but I mainly thought it was hilarious. It made me laugh, from a spoilt juvenile, selfish girl (Mairead)to a James, stiff, stuffy, stereo typical Englishman, the lead characters were funny. I hope it was intentional by the author.
The second half though suddenly upped a notch with a threat and it certainly wasn't funny.
It developed, although the premise was a little weak and then went off again as Mairead allowed herself to leave James, after saving herself for him and then other men entered the fray.
Complicated.
Mairead was immature and irritating. James controlling and to be honest not really very pleasant.
If you're offended by BDSM scenes then it's also not for you. I thought they were repetitive and didn't really help the story along.
For me it felt like there were two stories and too many subplots and I didn't really feel the characters motivations were explained.

I found I couldn't put this book down. Very hot and steamy with some very creative scenarios. The charactors were interesting and not the run of the mill erotic doms/subs. Highly recommend this

Ok, to start off just one little thing, James Vaughn is mine. End of. Anywho on to the book, this has been on my kindle for months and I finally got around to reading it this afternoon, 3 hours later and I gotta say I'm very impressed with it. I did not want to put it down, it really got hold of me and captured my interest within the first 5 pages which is always welcomed with a book. Mairead is basically a spoilt little brat and James is a chauffeur/bodyguard employed by Mairead's father. You can tell pretty quickly that James isn't going to take any s*** from Mairead,  which is where the fun starts. Now I'm never a one to spoil a book for anyone else so I will say that the sex is way hot, there is a slight BDSM theme to it but it doesn't overtake the story. There is a little mystery to this story which will keep you intrigued till the end, now that isn't the main part to the story but it keeps coming up through out it. I enjoyed this immensely and will definitely be reading it again and probably a third time too. 5 stars
