The subject of Form vs Value has always been divisive so this book will inevitably incur conflicting opinions. Make no mistake; this is an interesting book and it does reveal some very plausible strategies.
For such a complex subject the book is sympathetically written and works on a number of levels, I had no difficulty in understanding the details or procedures.

A refreshing approach to winning that is thought provoking and interesting. Covers a number of areas I had previously considered but never found time to investigate further. The book concentrates exclusively on making a profit by identifying an element of value within the price. Could be a bit advanced for some novice bettors but this is one of the better books on the market.

Some ideas but very vague. Reminds me of a book called Betting Systems With A Pocket Calculator. The author makes it sound like his way of using prices and mathematics to 'get value' would work but only shows one example for each idea, then says you need to go over a good number of races to see if it works or not rather than showing he has done it over a good number of race himself, show you the results and prove it does work. I don't believe his methods have any solid base or foundation and in my opinion you won't be finding any value betting strategies with this book. I returned my copy after reading it in about an hour and a half and I don't return many items.

Being an occasional each way backer I found the ew betting part of the book particularly helpful. The on course strategies are also worthy of a mention and look forward to testing those in the near future. Informative, relevant and includes examples.

An exceptional book that comes over as being genuine and honest; it provides readers with a logical approach to winning and should not be underestimeted.

the back of the book says "this publication focuses on using mathmatics to identify vale rather than statistics and past perfomance" it reminds me of Euler's God Equation. euler was a mathmatican and an atheist who created an equation showing to god to exist to show you can prove anything with mathmatics even though it's wrong.

This book is childish at best so please do not expect to learn anything about horses or racing as it is just a collection of sum to use on the betting exchamges and all this stuff is free on the inter net

It's an okay read but if you're an established punter there isn't anything here for you. The book is padded out with backing and laying on the exchanges and the bookmaker overround but for a novice it is a good book to understand betting.
The book mainly deals with gaining an advantage in betting which doesn't require gambling. Achieving a profit no matter what the result. The returns are small but guaranteed, although as a gambler if there wasn't the risk of losing then there wouldn't be any point to bet.
Don't buy this book if you want to gamble and risk your money as you will be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a way to get a 5% return on your outlay then this book will help you.
