At last! A book that explains all financial aspects of life, in a simple and easy to understand language. Apart from giving you the facts, it also makes you question decisions you've made or are about to make. It doesn't preach or patronise, but offers alternative ways of thinking about things. Sarah's style is very reassuring, friendly, honest and unbiased. She answers all those questions on issues that no one ever taught you about.

Money can be a really stressful part of a relationship, but there are so many suggestions, tips and advice in this book that help make it so much easier to deal with. Within 15minutes of reading, I'd worked out how we could save £70 a month. A book that doesn't make finance scarey and encourages you to be in control of your personal situation.

Having worked as a financial adviser for many years and having read many books that attempt to help the reader get on top of their finances this books rates as one of the best. It provides a simple no-nonsense reference point for couples who want to do no more than ensure their finances are in order. In particular chapter 4, `The road to financial bliss', is a must read for couples who have decided that their financial future is together and want to know how to get started. For those who find personal finance a dry subject this is a book that will allow them to be on top of their money without becoming immersed in financial jargon.

I found this book very well organised and comprehensive. I would certainly recommend it. It's very accessible in the way that it speaks to you. My husband and I have already implemented some of the suggestions and it's motived us made us talk more openly about money.
