This picks up where the previous book finished, things are looking hopeless for Marc and Tara, Marc is being blackmailed by his family, he's to marry a nice Italian girl then he's back in the family, playing poker and most importantly Tara is safe.
Tara can't believe Marc is over her so quickly so now she has a decision to make, it's too late to register for school this semester so she decides to continue on with the poker tournament but how will she cope if she has to play against Marc.
I've enjoyed this series much more than I expected mainly because I'm not a huge fan of short serial books but after trying the first one I was hooked, I grew to love both the main characters and Buffy of course, can't forget Buffy.
It's difficult to explain but after finishing this book my first I thought was that it was missing something but having thought about it over night I think it's just because everything happens so quickly, it couldn't be any other way I suppose with the book being so short but I was left feeling a bit, well disappointed I suppose.
That was my review, I've just received an email from Jessa explaining that any loose ends will be tied up in a novella, this will be free and available chapter by chapter on Wattpad it will also be a stand-alone, so fingers crossed it will finish this series off nicely.

I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review.

Arc given by author for honest review

have to say I am pretty gutted this series has come to an end and just when I thought it was all over the author leaves you wondering what will happen next and I did curse, yes I can use my immagination it certainly runs wild enough.
Anyway book 5 picks up from where 4 left off with Marc telling Tara that it is best she leaves and doesn't see him again, but we all know this is pressure from his family and wanting him to marry someone who is of their kind but with the threat of harm to Tara is motivation enough, Marc left the family so why they want him to marry of their kind is beyond me he is a grown man who needs to grow a set and tell them where to go. But Marc knows the only woman for him is Tara, I just wish he would tell her how he really feels.

Now with the big poker tournament and Marc back in on the tables Tara knows that she will see him but when she sees a woman on his arm all the feelings she has been trying to hide to the surface. But a phone call from his brother has Marc worried about Tara nad what his brother would do to tie up loose ends.

I do hope Jessa brings out a novella in what happens next because I hate loose ends.

As the last book in the series Final Table picks up where book 4 ended with Tara desperately trying to get things back on track with Marc. When he turns her away yet again she decides enough is enough and enters the big tournament alone.

Marc has been dealing with his own demons. His family pressuring him to choose a suitable girl to marry he has no choice but to turn up to the tournaments with his new woman on his arm – right in front of Tara. Now entering the same tournament they will undoubtedly have to face each other eventually but the later they have to do that the better. But when Marc’s brother’s dealings put them in danger yet again Marc must decide whether to continue the life his family have chosen for him or give it up for Tara instead – will they both be able to escape unscathed?

So sad to see this series come to an end! Loved Tara and Marc’s story and this last instalment really packs a punch, a great way to finish the series! Can’t wait to read more from Ms Jacobs!

The Final Table wraps up the full Tilt Billionaire series. Marc and Tara are obviously in love. But to keep her alive, he has to keep her away from his family. The only way he sees to accomplish this and protect her is by sending Tara away and marrying someone his family feels is suitable.
Tara has to move on. She decides that even though she may meet up with him on the Poker Tour, the rewards will outweigh the risks.
Will Tara be able to handle seeing Marc with someone else? Will he be able to put her out of his heart and move on? Will the game that once brought them together tear them further apart, or reunite them?
