FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE improves upon the 2006 classic FINAL FANTASY XII, now more beautiful and easier to play than ever. The high-definition remaster introduces several modern advancements, including reconstructed battle design and a revamped job system. With newly implemented trophies and share functions, as well as stark visual and sound improvements in true HD for the first time, players both returning and new to the game will experience a grand adventure that spans the world of Ivalice in an entirely fresh and improved way.
Enter an era of war within the world of Ivalice. The small kingdom of Dalmasca, conquered by the Archadian Empire, is left in ruin and uncertainty. Princess Ashe, the one and only heir to the throne, devotes herself to the resistance to liberate her country. Vaan, a young man who lost his family in the war, dreams of flying freely in the skies. In a fight for freedom and fallen royalty, join these unlikely allies and their companions as they embark on a heroic adventure to free their homeland.

At the moment, I'm farming levels for 99 and throughout the game, i've loved it!
I'm not one for strategy games as I'm terrible at them and always lose alot.
But what I love about this Final Fantasy is the combat, classes and the adventure!
While I agree with some people the game is pretty easy, some bosses are little difficult and require small tactic. Other than that, I've beaten nearly every boss (apart from last bosses) first try without much struggle.
Combat feels little slow but you can turn on the "fast forward" to speed things up. As well as use it for travelling. But I've enjoyed it either way.
New Class system
Dual class (combine 2 classes onto 1 character)
Funny & serious moments
New Fast Forward button (For possible speed farming or travelling)
Very nice/clean UI
Remastered game (Nothing against remastered, but theres been a bit too much of it this year.)
Locked class (Once you pick one, can't change)
Bosses lack tactic (Either I over-leveled or they didn't felt like a threat)
Slow LP/XP gain (May take you awhile)
No armour (No looks towards your character.. /cry)
No description on skills (Some not very clear on what they do.)
Meh/Bad are just my little things I dislike about the game. But hasn't put me off of enjoying this Final Fantasy!
I'd recommend it to anyone that's looking to get into Final Fantasy or has previously played Final Fantasy XII.
The graphics are a nice shout back to PS1 game Vagrant Story and the story itself reminds me very much of Star Wars. That opening ceremony reminds me so much of Phantom Menace. Plus Vaan, Ashe and Balthier remind me of Luke, Leia and Han. Heck Fran is a bunny version of Chewy!
Its real time battle system which did put me off playing it on PS2. But know thats the norm, I've come to accept it. The remastered music is gorgeous and you even have the option to change it back to the original.
FF12 has some of best characters in my opinion from any FF title and was poorly received when it was first released.
I like the changes to the TZA over the original FF12 and enjoying my time once again in Ivalice.
For newcomers, meet Vaan and orphan looking for adventure and riches in a fallen kingdom with an array of characters to keep him company. This is the last great FF, go on... Treat yourself.
They have improved it and made it better. A fantastic game remastered.
They have brought a famous game to the upgraded console which is fantastic for fans that love the series.
If you loved this game before its better now!
