Another absolutely amazing read from this author !!

I loved Dirty English I couldn't put the book down and this second in the series was no exception at all. This story is all about Dax the other hot alpha Blay twin and damn it sizzles just as much as Declan's story did.

I fell in love with Dax and his cheeky chap character instantly so when I saw he was getting his own story I couldn't wait to dive in, and wow what a story ! This book shows a whole lot more to Dax and his caring sensitive side which simply makes him all that more alluring.

Dax and Remi have a history together and both see each other as their Achilles heel yet are so drawn to one another they can't help the passion that seems to happen every time they are near.

A brilliant story with a fabulous set of characters that pull you in and take you along for the ride with them. Bravo to the author on a brilliant book.

The English are back and this time its the Cocky Dax Blay!!!!

"You can call me Dax. Or Sex Lord. Or Daddy. Whatever floats your boat."

What can i say everyone loves a bad boy but a bad boy who has a caring, loving heart is Knicker melting Swoon worthy and Dax was that and so much more.
So what do you do when you are left with a paid honeymoon to England after your fiancé tells you just weeks before that he's not ready to get married?? That's right you still take your honeymoon to England with your best friend in toe, that's exactly what Remi did to try to forget the heartbreak she had left behind.

Masked at a club in London she literally falls into the arms of a sexy, hot Brit. He seems so familiar to her and soon she learns the masked man is Dax, a man who she had fallen in love with on a 3 night stand in college. What Remi doesn't know is that she's the one, the one that got away never has Dax had feeling before or after her like he has for Remi. The chemistry is strong between the two and just as it seems they are getting closer the ex comes back into her life and threatens to ruin everything!!!
So much happens in this book truths are told love is reunited, it truly is a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet This was an excellent book. The unfolding of the plot, the love triangle left you sitting on the edge of your seat, turning page after page to see what would happen next. And i'm hoping Spider gets his own book.
I'm English so when i her the words Knickers instead of panties in books that i read i smile and giggle silly i know but i can't help it i love it when an author writes about an English person or any other country and uses the correct words / terminology / slang it shows that they have obviously taken their time and researched their characters. Ilsa Madden-Mills i loved Dirty English but Dax in Filthy English Swoooooon!!!

I read this a few days ago and have deliberately sat on what I was going to review because exactly what that would be has fluctuated from not only day to day but almost hour to hour.
I suppose it is a good sign that I haven’t just read, reviewed and moved on but is this one plaguing my thoughts for the right reasons.
Well almost…let me explain. I loved Dirty English, honestly I did but this was Oh, what do I want to say! …it was hard to almost get my head around.
The story was emotionally charged and I hold my hands up and surrender to the fact that this author is an absolute master when it comes to perfectly pitched tone and implication and although the story might have been inspired by Romeo and Juliet there is nothing 16th Century about this pair.
Remi is shaking of the past, dealing with the fact that her fiancé grew cold feet and pulled the plug on their wedding with only few weeks to go. Gathering herself up she set off with her best friend in tow and decided to put her “would have been” honeymoon to good use, a girl’s vacation!
But when she meets the one guy she really doesn’t want to see again at a masquerade ball, the course of events are about to get more than a little choppy!
Dax is the guy that Remy has never gotten over but he is also the guy that makes her act like she is completely stupid…and the feeling is mutual. Dax only ever wanted forever with Remi but it just wasn’t too be, but is it now?
I love the angst of their situation the fact that neither of them have fully explained or gotten over what happened between them in the past, the fact that moving forward together is going to be like herding cats but that not moving forward together is likely to destroy them both.

Ilsa Madden-Mills has done it again! I fell in love with Dec in 'Dirty English', but Dax has certainly given him a run for his money within this second installment of 'Filthy English'.

Dax and Remi are both superb characters. Remi is super-cool! She's sassy and sexy, but also very real and has the same insecurities that a lot of girls have. Remi is in London because she has been dumped just a couple of weeks before her wedding day, and well.... London was her honeymoon destination, so why waste the holiday?! She is there with her best friend to recover, heal, drown her sorrows and take her mind off everything back home. Whilst there they attend a masquerade club and there she falls into Dax Blay. He's the SUPER HOT & SEXY British bad-boy from her college who broke her heart a few years ago. Back in the past they had a wonderful 3-day-long-one-night-stand!

This book will have you shouting at the pages. There has been so much miscommunication between these characters, and that continues to happen throughout the book. There is so much intensity and an incredible amount of passion! And of course, as you would expect from Ilsa Madden-Mills, there PERFECT mix of fantastic humour which had me laughing out loud!!!

I sucked in a breath to gather myself, but I couldn't think straight. The room spun, and I was suddenly queasy, and why did I slam all that tequila, and oh my God, my wrist is currently attached to my tit like a T. rex arm.

From the very beginning I was totally absorbed into the story and completely sucked into the pages. I could not put it down and read it in a day. Ilsa always, without fail, manages to write stories which completely consume me.
