Best book I have read in 2015. Seriously this is a proper biography, not candy flavoured and I never upset anyone. Fernando tells it how it was and leaves nothing out for the book. His travels and torment masks this one of the best players to play for Glasgow Rangers, shows a great regard for Dick Advocaat. Hope he has a great life

Brilliant, moving and funny book, Love Ferdy and wish him every success in his fight against the horrible disease he's facing. To Fernando and his family all the very best for the future. God bless you. Simply the best.. No Surrender Ever x

Enjoyed reading Fernando's words. Admire his pride and true Fighting Spirit. What a very eventful life so far in his 37 years and he has the guts to admit his errors, which we are all guilty of making but seldom admit, never mind publicise! I'm glad you graced Scotland with your determined talent and presence and regret that the press gave you such a hard time. I wish Fernando the very best of health and good luck with the fight against MND - hope you prove the medics wrong and live to see your gorgeous wee daughter grow.

This is a straight-talking book from a man who doesn't deserve this cruel illness (MND).Saw him at his benefit match art Ibrox and made a personal promise that as long as Nando fights his MND I shall fight my MS with equal doses of Fighting Spirit.

Great book following the life of one if Rangers best loved players. Frank and full of humour, giving a good insight into Fernando and his exploits in his career as a young lad in Limburg, taking him to the likes of Fortuna, Rangers and Zenit. A top book from a top man and a top player. Good luck Fernando with your latest battle. Your Fighting Spirit will win through

Great book, not the best written but the story of Fernando's life, footballing career and illness was told as if Fernando was talking to you. An inspiring tale and I hope that Fernando maintains his 'Fighting Spirit' to fight his illness.

This is a gripping, thrilling and very funny book from the former Fortuna Sittard, AZ, Rangers, Zenit and Netherlands player who has well and truly lived life to the fullest.

Thoroughly recommend it for anybody. His stories are remarkable and the writing style is brilliant. Even if you aren't a football fan, this is a brilliant read.

What a fantastic read that will keep you hooked from the first chapter onwards. Exploring the complicated life of one of the games most intriguing characters, this will be one of the best autobiographies you'll ever read.

At last an honest, funny, sad at times autobiography where no one is blamed for Fernandos troubles except himself.
If only all footballers were this truthful when writing their life story.
