This is Eve and Cameron's story. This is a heart-breaking story. Eve is young for Cameron but you cannot deny they have chemistry. Eve is still pretending she is "gay" because she is sworn of men because of what happened to her in the first book. But that is blown out of the water when she meets Camron.
How they get together and secrets are reviled between them both and the strength they have. Eve has problems but not because she is young and irresponsible, which is what Cameron thinks, but it is reviled and how she overcomes that situation and handles it, makes her so strong. Cameron is holding onto some serous regret, and again how he overcomes that with the help of Eve is so touching.
This is another great book, and I hope there is more books coming out, because I would love to read about Layla's daughter Elle's story.
This is a great book and the fighting series should be read by all. They are fantastic.

This book is flawless!! The journey that Cameron and Eve go on in this book is phenomenal, they both start off in such bad places with the past having such a hold on them, but they push through and what a ride this is for us as readers!! This series just gets better and better, it's hard to let them go when you finish the book!! Highly highly recommend!! Read them all, what a gift this author has, brilliant.

I absolutely love JB's style of writing. You can't go wrong with sexy mma fighters!! I loved Eve & Cameron & the chemistry that they had. Even though Cameron was a bit older than Eve it never made the story seem creepy it just worked! Am really looking forward to the next instalment.

I can' tell you how utterly dumbfounded I am by this book? What happened? I was so looking forward to it, as having never been let down by this author before, for me it was a no-brainer and I was expecting the same standard as she's previously produced. It just didn't happen.
I'm so confused and conflicted because I can't believe this is penned by the same person? The characters were weak, unlikable, vapid and shallow. The story line was poor at best and irritated me no end.
It was everything I've come to run the other way from in this genre, with toing and froing galore, a sex based story with no depth, a hint of a story line purely for a shock/sympathy factor, without any sensitivity or empathy towards the subject matter that was only touched upon as a sideline to the sex and angst. The lack of research into and exploration of the life altering topics that were almost just mentioned in passing, quite frankly left me feeling a bit sick. This couldn't be further from the other end of the spectrum when comparing it to her last book. Add to that the corny, unrealistic scenarios and dialogue and I can honestly say the only reason I haven't given this one star is out of a weird sense of loyalty because I know this author has it in her. Very sadly, most definitely not this time though. Truly gutted. Returned for a refund.

This is the 4th book in the fighting series and as with the other 3 i absolutely loved it!.

This Cam and Eve's story and what a story it is! As usual the author draws you straight into this story and makes you fall in love with the characters. Cam and Eve's story is not as lovey dovey as the other books but this is due to Cam's circumstances and personality which you find out about in the story. He's very alpha and very growley and if he was to come across romantic it just wouldn't fit. Eve is very insecure in relationships because of her past and was a bit needy with him but towards the end her true personality comes out. I also love her relationship with her best friend Raven. The intimate scenes are as usual hot and racy and make you wish for your own Cam!

I don't like to give away plots so i won't but rest assured if you loved the first three books then you will love this one. This book actually runs alongside book 3 so please read the first 3 to find out what's going on. Don't expect any Rex updates because as stated this happens at the same time but it fills in a few blanks regarding the birth of Sadie, Jonah and Raven's baby.

As with her other books it provides laughs and tears and everything inbetween. I can't wait for the next book which will be Mason's story who you have met in the other books but a bit more so in this one. Can't wait for his HEA he's a Fighting Baywatch sweetheart!!!

Can't say enough good words with regards to this book, brilliant, amazing, fabulous... nah not good enough! This series is one of the best there is and i highly recommend you read them.

I’ve loved all the books in this series so far, so without meaning to, I guess I did have high hopes for Cameron and Eve’s story, especially after the hints of them in book 3. Sadly though for me, this didn’t quite work. Yes I’m rating 3 stars, which is good and is largely due to the amazingly sad prologue and a good ending. However there were many things about this story that frustrated me.
Firstly. Eve. I love a heroine who has some vulnerabilities. And she has them in buckets. Her no-good-gambling-addict Father has treated her like a piece of s*** all her life, expecting her to look after him financially. Her mother left when she was younger and since then Eve has had a string of relationships were the other-half has eventually upped and left her alone. The last one – Vince – we know of from book one (he was using Eve to get at Raven).
So it’s understandable that Eve has issues and wants more than anything for someone to want her and look after her. But what really pissed me off? The fact that she was a self-confessed doormat that only seems to be interested in guys that treat her as such.

That leads to my second gripe……Cameron. After over a decade of being single since he divorced his ex-wife, Cameron is intensely focussed on his career, namely getting himself back in the Octagon as one of the best MMA fighters of his time. He doesn’t want complications or anything that will interfere with that, and he knows that Eve is someone that will. Yet he can’t quite keep away from her, but is happy to have his cake and eat it if you know what I mean.
In the first half of the book, Cameron and Eve seem to play a game of to-and-fro. They hook up, seem to be making progress, then something happens to make Cameron run. Why? His past of course.
