Review

In Fighting to be Free, Kirsty Moseley delivers another epically beautiful love story that will have you rooting for the underdog and compulsively turning the pages (R. J. Prescott, USA Today bestselling author)

Hold on to your pages, because this is the suspenseful ride of a lifetime! (Regina Bartley, romance author)

Kirsty Moseley at her best. Five kindle-throwing stars! (S. K. Hartley, international bestselling author)

Fighting to be Free is an utterly captivating read that will make you fall in love and leave you breathless until the end (Natasha Preston, New York Times bestselling author)

Kirsty, excels at writing a swoon worthy male that compels you to keeping turning the pages, to keep falling head over heels in love with them and Jamie is no exception. Fighting to be Free is a story of life being unpredictable, not winning the parent lottery and choices being taken away by poor decisions of said parents or parent. This is an enticing read with enough sex, angst and fast-paced action that your heart beat kicks at an uneven pace . . . until the very last page (Ker Dukey, international bestselling author)

This book had me hooked from the first page and kept locked onto its line right up to the very last page! (Elle McKenzie, romance author)

'Gritty, heart wrenching and sexy with a bad boy lead who will melt your heart' (Sophie Jackson, author of the Pound of Flesh series)

I read this book years ago on Wattpad, and when I heard it was being published with brand new content I was jumping for joy with excitement! I couldn't contain myself when I was lucky enough to receive an ARC! I didn't think this amazing piece of work could get any better than it already was, but I was so wrong. It's so much better, I just feel like reading it all over again already!

Fighting To Be Free follows Jamie Cole a young man that at the age of only 18 has already been through so much in his short life. He's fresh out of juvie and wants a brand new start, he wants to be free from his past. Jamie meets Ellie the 17 year old red head and he just has to know her. Ellie fresh out of a controlling relationship doesn't want anything serious, she just wants to be free and have fun. Will Jamie change her mind? Will he ever be free from his past?

I'm trying to keep my review spoiler free this book is so special, so emotional it needs to be experienced first hand! Go in blind and enjoy the ride!

My heart broke for Jamie and everything he had been through he's beautifully broken and you just want to be the one to fix him. I laughed, I jumped for joy, and I most definitely cried! What a ride! The follow up book Worth Fighting For comes out in December and Ive already pre-ordered my copy I just can't wait for more from Jamie and Ellie! It's beautifully written as with everything I've ever read by Kirsty Moseley, she never disappoints me! Her writing has the power to turn me into a blubbering mess one minute and then turn it all around and make my heart jump for joy!

Five stars from me it's not enough, it deserves so much more but that's all I can give!

I came to read this book by chance when I offered to speed read for someone who was going to review the second book in the series, and wanted to know what the 1st book was about.

I am now so glad I offered. The book follows Jamie and Ellie.

Jamie is 18 years old and just released from juvie on parole after serving 4 years for murder. He leaves juvie vowing that he is going to go straight but his past has a way of catching up with him.

Ellie is the popular girl in school and head cheerleader. Her relationship with the popular boy Miles has run its course.

Are the bad boy and good girl able to make a relationship work or will Jamie's past make it impossible for them to follow their dreams?

The second book in the series is now downloaded and I am going in. See you all on the other side.

Some books you like, some you love. Then there's the books that consume you, the ones where the words wrap around you like a blanket and keep you locked inside. The books where the characters take hold of your heart and soul until they become your only focus. This is one of those books. I have wholeheartedly missed Kirsty Moseley's words. This book reminded me of why i love her writing so much. They way she takes 26 letters and creates worlds i want to live in forever, I'm in awe of this lady and the way her mind works.

After being released from juvie Jamie Cole is ready to go straight, but cutting ties with his old crime boss Brett Reye isn't as easy as he hoped. Just being released and living in a run down apartment a woman should be the last thing on his mind, But when he steps in to help a pretty red-head he just knows he's hooked.

Ellie Pearce has just broken up with her long term boyfriend, she isn't ready for another relationship. She wants to spread her wings so when a handsome stranger steps in to help her she jumps at the chance to go home with him, no point ignoring the obvious attraction. Ellie wants to keep things casual but can Jamie change her mind when feelings grow? With so manys secrets behind him can Jamie ever be free from his past?

Gah i loved Jamie, my heart broke for him after everything he's been through. He's such a tortured soul just trying to do the right thing. Ellie was a breath of fresh air for him, the very first person to love him for who he was faults and all. They're absolutely beautiful together. I was totally rooting for them from the beginning. I can't wait to see more of them together, i adore them.

‘Fighting to be free‘ is a raw, gritty, adrenaline filled page turner as well as being a tender and heart breaking tale.

Jamie, 18, has just been released from juvie after serving four years inside for murder. He is determined to stay out of trouble and on the straight and narrow. In doing so he meets the recently single Ellie. Whilst they fight their ever growing attraction and love for one another, Jamie’s past catches up with him and he’s forced to make decisions that are out of his control.

I loved Jamie, his vulnerability but sheer will to survive and the want to be a better man…he’s your true ‘bad boy’ gone good. And Ellie…..she’s your typical straight A student and head cheerleader..she is only seventeen so you have to remind yourself of that as you read through but I think they are a perfect match for each other, she accepts him for who he is, if only he could accept himself.

'She was so far out of my league that we practically lived on different continents. And yet I’d never longed for anything as much as I’d longed for her. I wanted to be good enough for her. I wanted her to want me.'

There’s plenty of action within these pages, for the last third of the book I was like a manic woman trying to see what was going to happen next and how it was going to end! Beautiful writing, some tear jerking moments and it’s definitely left me wanting more!! Roll on ‘Worth fighting for’!
