Small format, handy little ready reference with a painstaking attention to camouflage colour accuracy (and a very useful appendix covering more colour info).
Not exactly encyclopedic in its coverage but at this size format what can you realistically expect?
Highly recommended.
Now, if only I could get my hands on the 'Flying boats and Seaplanes since 1910' volume...

I had the Blanford publication of this book many years ago. I gave it away with many other books when moving but later got the Bomber companion volume. When I saw this, it was nice to replace my old copy.

Having owned this book as a kid I knew exactly what to expect: amazing illustrations accompanied by highly detailed, but rather dull notes. I wish it contained a few more anecdotes about the planes in action, but that was not the author's intention so I can't and shan't complain.
I wish the inter-war book was available.

As expected, this is a good reference book and is well worth the price. I will look out for more books by Kenneth Munson.

Whilst this book is not a "Janes" and as such cannot be considered definitive, it is a brilliantly informative for a pocket sized book. Pound for pound a great little book.
