I love this book. It is inspiring, challenging, entertaining but ultimately has very powerful in helping you let go of stuff that is getting in your way of creating more of the life you want. I totally recommend it for anyone who thinks they can be their own worst enemy. You can change that with this books help.
Utterly accessible without the slightest hint of condescension. It's as if you are joined by a new personal champion in chapter one that leads you through, page-by-page, showing you new tools to help you make sense of things.
Every time it gets a little overwhelming you look back to see your champion give you a supportive nod - just enough to nudge you into braving the next exercise with your mind monster. So powerful to develop something tangible to represent the part of us we're scared to engage with. If you can see it, you can work with it! A seemingly scary process sometimes, but being brave has paid off. The exercises are interspersed with little breaks of contextual nerdiness, giving you just enough science to really buy-in to the process. This book is a total game-changer!
I have read many self help books in the past that explore the power of the mind - but none have explained it as well as Hazel has in this book. She uses science and studies to back up her explanations but has written the whole book in such a beautiful way that it makes it SO hard to put down! It has seriously changed the way I think and has helped me use my mind as a beneficial tool on a daily basis. Highly recommend !!
