What's wrong with this book is a poor choice on the publisher's part to make it so small. Why, I can't imagine. If you saw this book in a bookstore you would pass it over because it is so difficult to read in the small print as well as difficult to physically manage because of its diminutive size. And what a shame for the author and illustrator to have their efforts (which are truly very very good) so minimized. So well done in other respects I will be looking for more Irish books by the author, Bob Curran and other books with illustrations by Andrew Whitson.
I bought it for my granddaughter who loves all things folklore as a gift for St. Patrick's day. I know she will truly appreciated it. But she would have loved it that much more if it were only larger.

Highly recommended to anyone at the beginning level of learning about Irish Fairies. Great artwork, too.
