The story carries on from the end of the first book in this trilogy bringing us further into the realms of mortals and of The Fey.

As the story progresses the characters reach a deeper connection with each other and grow, giving us even more to hold on to, as they sink ever deeper into the clutches of The Bright Court. We meet old friends and new alike as we follow the characters along the journey that must be won by mortals if the human kind are to be saved. The reader becomes ever more a part of the tale as the story sucks us further in and we begin to experience everything the story throws out - we even begin to feel the effects of Fey magic along with the characters and the need to sink further into the book to find the solution and help them save mortals from the dread rule of The Fey.

The story continues in this second of the trilogy so cleverly written using a superb command of words that ensnares the reader and we feel, see, breathe every nuance of both The Fey realms and our own mortal realm.

A superb fantasy that will continue on to take it's place in the library of great reads - one that I heartily recommend to all fans of this genre

'Feyland: The Bright Court' is the second book in the Feyland trilogy, a series that combines sci-fi with the paranormal when a virtual reality game becomes a doorway to the land of fairies.

I liked the introduction of the bright court in this book and the story was still strong and held my attention throughout. I found Tam a bit less believable in this book. He came across too perfect which was disappointing as he seemed flawed in the beginning. This was obviously for the purpose of the romantic element to develop further so it wasn't too big a deal but he went from being my favourite character to least favourite very quickly because of it.

Having read the trilogy now this is probably the weakest book out of the three but it is still an amazing story and well worth a five star rating. Original, action-packed and with some great surprises along the way, I highly recommend this book and the rest of the trilogy for fans of YA Paranormal.

Actually slightly better than the first one largely due to the introduction of new characters.
