From the Author
My name is Brian Mc Shane and I'm a writer, business owner, serial entrepreneur and a goal setting fanatic!
I'm the owner of several off-line and online businesses, and the proud author of "The Few That Do"
Let me just say straight away that I'm not a self proclaimed expert or wannabe guru, nor do I claim to live a perfect existence and have all the answers.
I'm just an ordinary guy who lives in Northern Ireland with my wife and our two beautiful daughters. However over the last decade i have totally immersed myself in the study of successful people and their habits, which has led to quantum leaps in my own success and happiness.
By following and implementing successful habits and principles into my own life, I have been able to achieve many of my own life goals, such as owning my own business, completing several marathons, becoming an author, quadrupling my income, eliminating my personal debt and many more.
I hope that my book will help you achieve your goals and objectives in your life and look forward to hearing of your success!

Thank you to the author, this is not a one night read and you can easily see how much knowledge and passion has gone into the writing.
Highly recommended for anyone who is just wondering what their life is/should be all about!
Clocking in at 300+ pages, I knew it was going to be a substantive read when I came across the chapter on sleep. As someone who is known for burning the candle at both ends, this chapter was a revelation. Subsisting on less than three hours of sleep a night -- thinking I was being "productive" -- was a fool's game. The absurdity of my sleep deprivation was just one of the issues that Mr. Mc Shane speaks on within these pages.
His focus on mindset, and its myriad manifestations, was a big takeaway for me, as I am generally skeptical of all the motivational pablum that permeates the airwaves and bookshelves, these days. If one's head is not in the right place, productive mind share is null and void.
'The Few That Do' also forces you to sit down and really think about what you want to accomplish and why. There is no better method for examining your core values as they relate to your life journey and goals.
I highly recommend you read this book through the first time around with an open mind. Pick it up a second time and take notes. Prepare to hold yourself accountable!
