What a wonderful book, I have visited Lizzie Houghton website on many occasions thinking how talented she is and how I would love to have one of her jackets or coats. This book does not disappoint in the instruction and advice telling you how you can design and make your own. I would recommend this book to anybody that loves colour and textures. Also if you have little experience of felt making there is plenty of small items to get you started.

I was quite disappointed with Lizzie other book on Felting, but have to say this was not the case for this one. It is an absolute joy, and probably one of the best on the market. Lizzie shares all her secrets so you can make your own wearable art fashions. A must for every serious felter.

This must be the best book on feltmaking ever published. It reveals all the secrets of making fabulous felt clothing and accessories you could wish to know and Lizzie's use of colour is a joy. The techniques are explained really clearly and the photographs of such sumptuous work inspire you to go and start felting straight away.

I am full of admiration for this lady.Having made a teacosy or two and a few scarves I was looking for inspiration to add more texture to my felt other than the usual nuno stuff, but my brain doesn't work sideways very easily(numbed by too much washing and dishes due to a huge family). Seeing the added velvets, her use of colour, and the idea that I could make a long coat with pockets has filled me with great enthusiasm. To be highly recommended.

This is a brilliant book. Full of fantastic images and inspiration for felters of all abilities. There are small managable projects for novice felters and mouthwatering larger projects for the more advanced. It is a must have for any felter. The instructions are well written and the pictures are stunning. Surely one of the best felting books out there.
A big thankyou to Lizzie Houghton for sharing this with us.

Lovely book, clear pictures. As the title says it is a "felting Fashion" book. If your main area is not fashion then the examples could easily be converted into wallhangings, cushions and other applications. Some knowledge of feltmaking is needed but if you buy it in conjunction with "Uniquely Felt" a lovely book to have and look into.

I loved this book as Lizzie Houghton makes a number of one off garments in beautiful colours. I have been thinking of attempting a nuno jacket for ages & having some basic measurements to start off with does give you the extra incentive. It also helps you to make sure your workspace is big enough. The book covers most aspects of feltmaking with some interesting hats & broaches as well as tops & coats. I also liked the section on making 3D pockets. A book both for the more advanced feltmaker & the adventrous beginner.
