Top Customer Reviews
And I can see why. For the price it is an absolute bargain. The 1080p IPS screen is fantastic quality with wide viewing angles. The build is cheap plastic but it's put together well and you really can't complain. The buttons and menu layout is very basic and requires a lot of clicks but the features available are numerous: multiple focus peaking modes, Zebra lines, histogram, volume meters, 4 quick select buttons. You really get a lot for your money, and again I cannot say enough about the screen.
It has a headphone jack so you can listen to the volume levels.
The supplied HDMI to mini HDMI cable wasn't compatible with my Fuji as it uses a micro HDMI so I had to buy it separately but everything else was spot on. I highly recommend this

Zebras a bit too sensitive indicating overexposure about 1/3 of a stop before camera built in monitor, fixable in settings as well. Built quality not the greatest feels cheap in hand, but again image quality is great so for the money absolutely worth it.
Indoors the screen looks great, while outside on a bright day just add the hood (included) and once again, great.
If you are just starting out this is a great purchase, all the good stuff from higher end monitors for a fraction of the price.
Batteries are NOT included, and will set you back another $45 or so for 2x batteries. Unfortunatley this is must have for any field work.
The field monitor came packaged safe-and-secure in a nice, thick box with a Sony F970 battery plate, sun shade and frame, HDMI to mini HDMI cable with a plug lock, hot shoe mount, and a user manual that was easy to understand and follow the detailed instructions.
Attachment to the Camera
After I connected the field monitor to the hot shoe of my Panasonic GH4, ran an HDMI cable from the monitor to the micro HDMI input on my camera (I used a different cable than the one provided), secured it with the specially designed HDMI lock, and plugged-in a Sony F970 battery, I was thrilled with the image that displayed on the Feelworld monitor.
The menu system is user-friendly and offers many settings and options to customize the monitor to your specifications. Once you push the “menu” button, you push the directional buttons to select menus and confirm changes to the settings. In the menu system, you can activate some of the most powerful features of the monitor.
When you activate the histogram, it displays a graph of the brightness of an image along the horizontal axis. If the stack appears on the left side of the graph, then the image is too dark. If it appears on the right side, it is too bright. And if it is spread across the horizontal axis, then the brightness is normal. What an amazing feature to have on a monitor that is this inexpensive.
Also, you can activate the audio meters, which provide numerical indicators and headroom levels and allow you to monitor your audio with precision. The meters are color coded and display as green unless you exceed -20dB, then it changes to yellow. If you exceed -9dB, it changes to red.
Peaking Focus Assist
When you activate the peaking filter, it highlights the sharpest possible edge so you can quickly and easily get tack sharp focus on your images. You can set the focus assist to high or low, and you can change the peaking color to red, white, blue, or yellow. Not to mention, the peaking focus assist remains active when you zoom in on an image.
Another amazing feature on the Feelworld monitor is false color. Usually, it is found in higher-end monitors and electronic viewfinders, and it provides you with a powerful exposure tool. On the right side of the monitor displays a color-coded IRE scale between 0 and 100 that helps you determine the different brightness values on your image.
Activate the zebra switch to turn on zebra patterning on the monitor. It displays stripes on the overexposed areas of your image and helps you to get correct exposure. You can also adjust the zebra exposure from 0-100IRE
The check field feature helps you to quickly and accurately adjust the color settings of your image and allows you to select red, blue, green, or gray.
The Feelworld monitor offers a 4X, 9X, and 16X zoom-in function, so you can magnify the HD signal and get a clear, close-up view of the image.
If you use anamorphic lenses or adapters, you can activate the anamorphic mode to unsqueeze the footage and display the real proportion of the image. You can set it to 1.3X, 2.0X, or 2.0X MAG, which magnifies the center of the image.
When you activate the flip feature, you can flip the image horizontal, vertical, or horizontal and vertical.
Center And Safe Markers
The Feelworld monitor allows you to set center and safe markers to help with composition. You can set safe markers to 80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, and 96% and change the colors of the markers to red, green, blue, white, black, cyan, purple, or yellow.
You have a lot of control over the color settings on the monitor. You can adjust the backlight, brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, sharpness, color temperature, and RGB values.
But one of my favorite features of the Feelworld monitor is that is provides you with four shortcuts that you can program with your favorite features. It makes it easy for you to quickly select those features that you need for each shooting opportunity.
The Feelworld monitor comes with a collapsible sunshade that makes it easy to view your image in bright conditions.
The Feelworld FW760 7-inch, IPS, full HD, on-camera HDMI field monitor provides tremendous value and an impressive visual experience for such a low cost. It is light weight and has numerous professional features found on higher-end monitors. If you are looking for a field monitor, then I would highly recommend you invest in the FW760 from Feelworld.
