Review

"A book with a strong message and plenty of additional content to catch the attention of primary school children in the younger classes. The illustrations are vivid and eye-catching . . . The birds are particularly life like" (Lucinda Jacob Inis)

When Paula finds a feather she goes on a journey to ask various birds if the feather belongs to them. Each bird describes their feathers and gives Paula one of their own to compare to the feather she has found. With beautiful use of language - ‘My feathers are grey like the mist and dawn of time’ says the seagull and gorgeous illustrations this book is a welcome addition to our favourites to read again and again

The book itself was fine, just wasn't quite what I expected in the story line.
