In this book, he sets out the lessons he learned along the way, on the values he developed as he learned, and those which he wished to instill first in himself and then in his daughters such as courage, vulnerability, self-awareness and so forth. While this book is aimed at single-parent fathers, I found much of value in it, applicable to any parent - and for the record, I am not a parent - or indeed, other relationships, at work for example.

"You don’t have to win to be a champion in the game of life. You just need to be
your best and learn from the lessons life presents."
One of his most important tools in getting to grips with his new role as a single-parent father was the setting of daily intentions.Read more ›
