Well I've been hoping and waiting to hear more form Blake and Layla and boy was it worth the wait Yes it was, I have no doubt I loved these two from the start of their first book but this is even better you get to hear how Axelle is doing after all that had happened, (can't wait to hear all about her love)
Floodgates are opened and fences mended between Blake and what stand in the way of his future and how fatherhood is defines him.
Layla has a trip down memory lane and is forced to face her past.
This is a brilliant read and deserved more than 5 stars

I liked this story, Blake and Layla have a wonderful relationship and understanding of each other's demons and needs. It was heartbreaking to read Layla's story but she is such a strong woman to have overcome so much I'm also happy that Blake found piece at last with regards to his own family.

This this the continued story of Blake and Layla. Axelle is 17 years old and Layla is almost 9 months pregnant.
Blake still has issues with his family and after he adopted Axelle he got an email from a P.I. saying someone has been looking into Laya and Axelle. They have already been through so much and this may be something that pushes Axelle over the edge.
Layla is almost 9 months pregnant and she has been getting calls from an 'unknown number' but because Blake is still having issues with his past she is not saying anything to anyone.
This book is only 193 pages, smaller then then the rest of the other books, and I read this book before I read book 3 and book 4. I love Blake and Layla's story.
Although this book ties up lose ends, I think this book is more about Axelle then it is about Blake and Layla.
Although this is duel POV's like the rest of the series, it would have been nice if we saw a little into Axelle's head but sadly we don't. I do hope that Axelle gets a book of her own.
We find out who really is Axelle's father, Layla gives birth and I have to say Black a big fighter, who isn't scared of anything, the birth of his child made me laugh out loud. It was so funny and although this is a serious book there are still some parts in this book that re funny.
Blake confronts his dad which is very emotional.
This really is a great book for Black, Layla and Axelle, but I do hope Axelle gets her own book, it would be great to see her get her happy ending.

This book has confirmed for me that this author has lost her way somewhere with this series. I was a fan up until the last book and was hoping that was just a blip and the quality would pick back up. It hasn't so this is unfortunately the end of the line for me and this series. The writing style has become cliched, repetitive and corny, with unrealistic and weak story lines. This has unfortunately resulted in this author going from one of my favourites to one I'll be avoiding in the future.
1.5 stars because the editing isn't terrible and the author can still write technically...a lot of people can write though, an author with true talent can consistently tell a quality story, rather than fall into the trap of stringing things out and massively compromising on the quality in the process. I've seen it before and it's a real shame.
Returned for a refund.

I really enjoyed this book, just as I did the others in the series. Great to see Blake and layla move on from their pasts, and see Axell come into her own. on one negative point I do feel the book could have been longer, but definitely a must read to carry on the series.
