Ethan Parker has been searching for his best friend Sam’s daughter for the past eight years, his mission was to find her and her mother, and discover the truth as to why they disappeared without a trace. This is explained when the book starts. Delilah is 18 years old and has just lost her mum when she meets Ethan, as with all Fiona Davenport’s book the chemistry between them is instantaneous and all consuming. They fall for each other straight away and Ethan neglects to tell her his real reason for getting close to her so he can discover if she really is the daughter of his best friend Samuel.
Liliah never had any intention of looking for her father, her mother told her what she thought was the truth on her death bed. Her love for Ethan takes her by surprise despite the 17 year old age difference, but can she forgive the secret that he has kept from her, and can she bring herself to listen to the father she believes betrayed her mother.
This is a super sweet, perfectly smutty read.
Ethan Parker has been looking for his best friend, Sam’s daughter for ten years, it isn’t until he see’s a funeral announcement that he realises he has a lead. When he attends Sam’s ex, Bonnie’s funeral he doesn’t expect to be left wanting the beautiful young woman that is grieving the loss of her mother. Needing to get close to her for a DNA sample Ethan spends more time with Lilah and soon gets his confirmation that she is Sam’s daughter, but the closer they get and the more they fall in love, Ethan is worried about telling Lilah that he is her father’s best friend. Will Ethan lose his woman? Will Lilah agree to meet her father? Will Sam accept Lilah and Ethan’s relationship?
A very naughty quickie taboo tale. A great easy read to lose yourself in. One that I enjoyed because it was fun flirty and down right smutty at times.
Ethan falls for Lilah the moment he sets eyes on her. He wants her and he's going to have her and he will do whatever it takes to make her his. Lilah is 18 and her Mother has just passed away. When she meets Ethan he becomes her escape from the sadness of her life. She finds him very attractive and wants him to do naughty things to her. However she doesn't know that Ethan is hiding a secret from her and that their meeting wasn't just happenstance. Ethan is her Father's best friend he owns an investigation and security company and he has been hired to help find Lilah.
Will Ethan's plans to have Lilah as his own be ruined when she finds out? Or will they have their happy ever after?
A fabulous quick and sexy read from Fiona Davenport.
Delilah has just lost her mum and is all alone when approached by Ethan. He's a private investigator, hired by her estranged father to find her he's also her fathers best friend. Delilah has no idea who he is and after what she thinks happened between her mum and dad she had no intention of ever seeking her father out. Although there is a seventeen year age gap there's also an instant chemistry between herself and Ethan but when the truth is revealed he may have a fight on his hands to keep her.
Their love is fast paced and even a little far fetched at times but I loved it and will definitely be reading more from Fiona Davenport.
This was a nice fast paced book but only issue I had was the way it seemed as if Ethan treated Lilah as a child by not allowing her to have a voice. She was a smart cookie though and many times demanded she be heard and respected. Nice job on how love trumos friendship but also mend it as well.
