Well, this is the second book and it has me again. It's very hard to pick which one she will pick. I wasn't expecting the story to quite go where it went with her brother Milio. As someone else said I would like her to pick Peter, but then Jack sounds so nice also. What a quandary she is in, as I wouldn't know who to pick either. They both sound so nice. The story was unexpected but it's going from strength to strength. I can't wait to get started on the third book. So we shall see how it pans out. Thanks again Amanda for another great read. These sort of books can keep on coming for me. So please give us more. Absolutely brilliant.

It took a very long while to get into this book and actually it wasn't until the last few chapters when I really started to get into it. Even though there was a few things going on I found myself thinking that it wasn't written in a way to capture my interest. A lot of things that happened really annoyed me to the point I felt like throwing my kindle across the room. I felt that the romance side of the story was pretty much non-existent even though there was something going on between the two main characters I didn't feel any chemistry. There was a couple of things that happened that I wasn't expecting and some of those really shocked me which I liked. As I said the end of the book really got interesting to the point of me wanting and even excited for the next book.

Some of the characters was better in this book than they where in the first book and then the others that didn't grow annoyed me. For me Alice was a lot more likeable in this book than she ever was in the first book. I really felt for Alice at times with the way that everyone was treating her and even though at times she was a bit whiney I could understand where she was coming from. I wasn't a huge fan of Jack's in this book as he just kept shutting Alice out without any explanation but there was times when he was the Jack that I liked from the previous book. Milo was in this book loads more than the first book but unfortunately he changed (in more was than one) as he really annoyed me quite often. The rest of the characters from the first book wasn't really in it that much and apart from Peter the others kind of annoyed me.

Overall, I was expecting a lot more from this book but for me it showed signs of suffering from second book syndrome. I will continue this series if I can actually get books 4 onwards as it looks like its been discontinued from Amazon UK but I hope I'm wrong.

This is the same review I made for My Blood Approves because I ordered both books at the same time.
I'm basing this review purely on the quality of the product. These books have got to be knock-offs because there is no way they are printed by a proper publisher! My daughter has lots of Amanda Hocking books and they have all been quality paperbacks. With these, however, the text pages are faint and obviously photocopied. The cover is so thin that it curls and it's been covered by hand by a piece of sticky back plastic which is now peeling off! They really are dreadful and I can't believe that Amazon is selling them under the Amanda Hocking name - you certainly need to speak to your supplier Amazon because this is rubbish. And I paid over £8 for each book! They will be returned instantly.

This is the second book in the My Blood Approves series by Amanda Hocking, after not being too sure about the first book, and decided to go ahead and read the second one, and I'm glad that I did!

This book is where the story really takes off, it was miles better than the first book in the series, and I found I couldn't put the book down!
It starts off right where My Blood Approves finishes, and it picks up pretty fast, with a major scene happening right at the start of the book, which leave the reader wanting more and sucks them in for the rest of the story.

I'm really glad I carried on with the series, because it was this book that got me hooked!

The second in the My Blood Approves series begins with a tragedy that quickly complicates all of Alice's and Jack's plans for her to turn into a vampire.

There is a lot more to the plot in Fate than in the first of the series; more action; more tension so that was really good.

I've read a few reviews for this series and people seem to be upset with Alice's choices regarding love. I'm not. I like his character a lot. The other one...well who is he really? We haven't really been given much of a chance to like him. Perhaps we will in the third novel.

As for Milo...he's pretty awesome.

Great read, looking forward to the next one.

This is the second book in the series and once again I really enjoyed it, I prefered this one to the first book. However, I really did like Alice but I am slowly going off her, at first I felt sorry for her being so torn between Jack and Peter but now I am starting to feel as if she is playing them and becoming selfish with their emotions and the familys emotions. Lets see what the third book has in store!
