Suspense novelist Sue Duffy says, “It’s thrilling to me to enter the world of those on the run, whose senses must sizzle on high alert, pitting their wits against the enemy’s to survive.” With a journalism degree from the University of Florida, she wrote for ad agencies, newspapers, and magazines before penning her first novel, “Mortal Wounds.” Her second, “Fatal Loyalty,” was a 2010 finalist for Foreword Review’s Book of the Year Award. Her third novel, “The Sound of Red Returning,” launches a trilogy about the Russian threat and a young pianist who stumbles into the web of global terrorism. The author also is an avid boater, tennis player, golfer, and pianist.
