Andie, 26, and an artist, is determined not to jeopardize her Dad's race for governor despite threats, a masked man at her window, stalking etc. Both Andie and her father are under FDLE protection but will it be enough?
Leo Francini is the leader of a Florida drug cartel and he plans to grab Andie in order to "persuade" Tony to give up the race.
Who is Evan Markham? Why is he following Andie? What is his relationship with Leo, if any? How about Thea Long, an old lady who seems to know quite a bit about Andie and her father? What about Vic Shay? Is she really just a helpless lady in garish house dresses?
I really enjoyed this book. Yes, I did figure out one "piece" before the book revealed it but it was a good, clean read and most of the time very believable. If you are looking for some suspense, romance and the truth about the hard reality of forgiveness then this is a good book for you.
