Working with sustainability in fashion and textiles, Fletcher's books (this and the preceding Sustainable Fashion & Textiles) provide an excellent overview of how sustainability can be approached, focusing on materials as well as labor conditions.

another amazing book by kate fletcher
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 March 2013
This is an excellent book, but very challenging. It concentrates on the pollution, carbon emissions and waste produced by this huge global industry, and makes some suggestions about how this can be changed, by producers and consumers. It requires a complete change of heart in our attitudes and indeed culture. As does our attitude to climate change generally.
