What I particularly liked about this book and found quite fascinating was the lengths you had to go to travel anywhere. A flight to Australia today taking a day might seem long enough to us, but back then it involved at least a three month journey, with changes of ship as there was no direct route at that time. Add in the dangers if they ran into rough weather etc and it truly was life changing if you survived all that to get to the other side of the world.
Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
Great story line and a book I found hard to put down.
There is only one thing that spoils, not just this book, but many others too. I am sure it is not an authors fault , but more one of the errors made by a publisher.. The "scenes" move without any change of a new chapter, jumping about from different places and times, which can be quite confusing.
If only they would rectify this problem, I and many other readers would be delighted.
2nd and 3rd books are Beyond the sun set and Destiny's Path.
Just love all Anna’s books
