The part about the mid 90s Britpop era being inherently racist has to be read to be believed. Even the Euro 96 anthem is accused of promoting white nationalism and harking back to the days of white England, when of course in reality it was harking back to when we were good at Football (lets also conveniently ignore the fact that one of the people in the song was actually Jewish andthat there were numerous non white people involved in the Britpop movement) not to mention Britpop is accused of intentionally removing the influences of black America...I mean seriously? what is the author smoking?

This is the type of stirring, agitating drivel we have to live with in Britain nowadays. Pretentious pseudo intellectual types waffling on and stirring the pot based on nothing, simply because they like to cater to their own egos.

Just read it as a comedy book and you'll enjoy it.
